Which earrings for my birthday?

What would my fellow PSers do?
I'd like to get a pair of dangle earrings for my upcoming birthday.
Here is the dilemma:
A) Go with bluenilehttp://www.bluenile.com/diamond-white-gold-earrings_17128

B) Custom pair with WF

I requested beadset, open circle dangle, about an inch long. Suitable to wear during the day, not too fancy.
WF is a little bit cheaper, but they are going to use 14K white white BN is 18K. **Both are over my original budget.
Beadset will be .20 ctw while BN is about .80ctw.
I'm worried about having something custom because what if my idea doesn't translate although I know WF does great work.
Even though the BN earrings weren't what I had in mind, I like them a lot and think I will wear them often.
What would you do if you were me?

for earrings it wouldn't bother me but I would just get whatever design you like the best. If you love the BN ones then I would get those, but if you want to have more say in the design and go with something custom from WF...then...I would go that route I guess I'm not that helpful, sorry!

The wf ones are only .20 Tcw? Normally I'd pick them over bn, but the diamond size difference is pretty significant. Since bn has a gtreat return policy, maybe order those and see what you think before going custom?

I agree...really big diamond difference. I think I would order the BN and see if I liked them in person. If not...back they can go.

Now that I'm back on my computer:

There is a big difference in the sizes of the two. Which size would you prefer? I'm assuming the bigger ones...

I don't have experience with BN but I did have a great experience with WF. I guess I was focused on that more than the size of the diamonds. What's BN's return policy like?

That's a good idea, MC. It is so hard for me to pick something without having it in my hand. They do have a great return policy.

I believe the return policy is 30 days.

I agree also. There's no comparison between .20 pts and .80 pts. I'd order the ones from Blue Nile and if you don't like them? Back they go! Just make sure to stay within the return time frame.
