I don't... PriceSccope is enough for me That's not to say I don't follow the occasional look or do the occasional search to keep my finger somewhat on the pulse, but for the most part PS is all I need.
I browse gem vendors' sites & One World Gemstone, look at jewelry auction catalogs & a few jeweler sites I'll never be able to buy from, always nice to dream.
I check Leibish often for the new arrivals.
Exceptional fancy colored diamonds go fast so you have to stay alert if you are looking for something in particular.
That 4-day old 0.05 ct Fancy Intense Green round is already on Reserve, even though it was $9,000.
There have been several times I wake up and check and some new gem it already on reserve after being available for merely hours.
Wow, Kenny, it's interesting how quickly they sell!
Also, sometimes when I'm not reading the current threads but want to stay on PS, I pick a PS user and go through all of the threads they started. I guess that is the online definition of a creeper. It's okay if I admit it, right?
What particular sites do you all like to look at? I'm bored with my same old ones and would love to check out any of your favorites.
I look at PS, and keep an eye on Swala, Precision Gem, and ACStones. I'll also go to Gemtrader, Dan Stair's website, Peter Torraca's website...you get the idea. Lately, I've started looking at Ebay for OECs, and Dover for unique pieces. I am very slow and deliberate about what I buy, so I look more to see what inspires me before I go hunting.
Yup, I'm living a parallel life with tyty! THose are my favourites plus BGD, GOG, WF and now I'm dabbling over at IDJ, Excel and Eternity. Clearly not monogamous!
I tend to stick to PS for the most part- but I also check out DBL for any FLY loose cushions as well as JbEG, DB, and Ebay just to see what is floating around
