Did you or will you stop using some method of birth control?
The reason I ask, is I see or hear of SOOO many couples who get engaged, and then some time between getting engaged and the date they are supposed to get married, they end up getting pregnant. It happens way to much to be a fluke thing. Its like you dated for 6 years and never got pregnant, but then you getting engaged and WHAM. Do you people prevent pregancy pre-marriage only when they are dating, but then assume engagement is close enough? Like when you get engaged (and even after you get married) will you just stop using any method of birth control and if it happens it happens? Or will you continue using BC methods until you are ready/trying to get pregnant?
I dont know, I guess it just doesnt make sense to me. It seems like a lot of people just dont use it anymore once they get engaged. I feel like I''ve waited/used BC for this long, might as well wait until after we''re married and we are ready to be pregnant before I stop using and "see what happens".
