I just got a random PB&J craving and that got me thinking about peanut butter. Yum!

My favorite is Skippy Reduced Fat; it''s slightly sweeter tasting than "normal" Skippy to me. What''s your favorite peanut butter?

I only like peanut butter w/Chocolate. hehe

I actually like it *all* as long as their is chocolate

involved or a banana. hehe

My favorite is organic peanuts freshly ground in the machine at Whole Foods. I love that stuff. I can''t eat anything out of a jar anymore as it tastes too sweet or too salty. I love that the machine grounds them to a perfect texture.

skippy: When I am really dying for dessert and don''t have my regular treat of a bittersweet chocolate bar square from Venezuela, I always grab some Hersheys syrup and squirt it over a tablespoon, or two, of my peanut butter. It tastes so much better than a Reeses peanut butter cup. That kind of chocolate always feels waxy to me now. I just can''t eat a Reese''s anymore.

Well, my first favorite Peanut Butter is my nephew. That''s his nickname. My next favorite would be my dear Skippy. But, of the edibles, I prefer Jif!

I''m not picky with the PB, but in college, I was introduced to the amazing snack of dipping M&Ms into a jar of PB. Oh my goodness good.

I''m normally very into the more natural, less processed versions of most things, but for some reason my absolute favorite PB is the kind they sell at Costco. It is all natural - just roasted peanuts and salt, but I don''t care for the freshly ground kind at all. Not sure why, but the stuff from Costco is addictive for me - YUM

My favorite is Jiff, but, I never eat it because of the hydrogenated oil. I like the Trader Joe''s salted PB.

I know it''s not the best for you, but since it''s the brand I grew up eating, I only eat Jiff. My favorite is the smooth reduced fat, but every once in a while I get a craving for chunky.

With my apologies to Skippy

, I prefer JIF.

I used to eat Peter Pan, but never went back after the food recall scare.

I''m like that, too....but for me it''s even worse. I''m a Skippy addict! I''ve tried to get myself excited about TJ''s peanut butter, I really have...it just didn''t work.

my favorite is homemade but I don''t make it anymore.
1 cup peanuts ground into paste 1 cup peanuts left chunky.
If using red peanuts which have more oil then its done.
if using regular peanuts add a dab of peanut oil so it will spread.
Mix well.
yummy!!

now days I just buy generic chunky at Aldi''s

I do the natural type--I grew up on Laura Scudder''s and that''s still probably my favorite, but I''ll eat any brand as long as it''s made with only peanuts and salt.

I like the Trader Joe''s natural chunky, but I need to get one of those stirrer things because I always spill the oil when I stir it.

skippy,jiff,peterpan...what one sale between the three....love it on pretzels with a chocolate bar and almonds...

Skippy Natural - in fact, my family loves it so much, that my husband won''t eat any other peanut butter anymore.

Jif Extra Crunchy! I''ve tried others, but nothing else tastes as good.

April, did you get your PB fix yesterday??

Mmmmm...I''m obsessed with Jiff''s reduced fat smooth peanut butter!

I am completely turned off by Skippy (no offense Skippy

) because when I was little, I wasn''t able to swollen any medication. So, my mom would crush the pills and put them in a teaspoon of Skippy for me eat. I know it sounds weird, but whenever I eat Skippy I always seem to faintly taste those crushed pills with every bite.

Skippy all the way

. Has to be creamy, my grandsons won''t eat chunky, tee hee.

No, I didn''t, Skippy. By the time I got home from work, the PB craving was gone. Perhaps that was a good thing. Heehee!

Sometimes I eat it right out of the jar

Organic Peanut Butter tastes so much better to me. Right now I''m using Sunflower Market''s brand no added salt not sweet.

Personally I
emlove.gif
Trader Joes sunflower butter. When this is in the house I eat it out of control.

Okay, I do love eating TJ''s cashew butter by itself!!!

I need to try the sunflower one!

The organic peanut butter (honey variety) at Whole Foods is my favorite but I seldom buy because it doesn''t last more than two days in my house. OR any salted variety at Trader Joes...love the peanut, almond and cashew butters. YUM!

It''s sooo good to me, my husband doesnt care for it though. I bought almond butter from Costco & none of us really cared for it. Think I will pick up the cashew butter & try it out. Might as well round out my nut butter tastings.
3.gif

Oh gosh, we don't have the cashew nor sunflower in our house. . . must make a trip to TJ's Bia and VegasA! I love Nutella too!
18.gif

We tend to stick with Skippy Natural (my husband prefers creamy but I like chunky PB). Are other nut butters (almond, cashew, etc.) supposed to be healthier than regular PB? I had to throw away the reduced fat PB we had gotten (Skippy, maybe, or was it Jif?) -- I hated it and my husband won''t touch reduced fat PB.

Man, BF loves peanut butter I mean LOVES it. So he has definitely gotten particular about what he likes. For awhile was into Adams, then he got into Adams with no salt. Now we both love getting our peanut butter from the store, where you have to ground them up into the container yourself. They are the best though!

Sorry Skippy, but we''re a Smucker''s All Natural (reduced fat) household. The darn stuff tastes so good.....

Second to that is all natural almond butter. Another potentially addictive food. :-)

Now, what does everyone put their peanut butter on? For me, it''s bananas. What a combination. So good!
