I''ve always had a thing for the simplest: mashed potatoes and gravy but my mother in law''s prime rib has taken a pretty good spot in my belly and I am suuuure looking forward to it 5 days from now!

I love it all. I am partial to rolls because I love me so breads, but you can have rolls anytime. I am also a big fan of ham.

Spiral sliced ham from The Swiss Colony

Stuffing!

My Mammy's sausage meat stuffing, the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds, and the streaky bacon strips from off the back of the turkey while it roasted (to keep the skin from burning)

Another partial to good rolls, [can eat those with prime rib or just swiss for days!] unfortunatelly, can''t have them anytime, only when SIL visits from NY

Roast potatoes cooked in goose fat and home-made cranberry sauce.

The stuffing!

But I''ll also have seconds of the yams, cranberry sauce, and turkey with gravy, thank you very much!

My favorite is apple and pumpkin pie and they're ALWAYS best the day AFTER the holiday.

Oh I have to have mashed potaos, and luckily the family agrees on that. I like a roast for Xmas, since we do Turkey on Thanksgiving.. But I don''t care too much, I will eat anything....

mmmmm craaaaaabbbb i want that too nowwwwwww

I love my mom''s stuffing and now that I just learned how to make it on my own, my husband and I will be having that as part of our Christmas dinner. I also love parmesan mashed/smashed potatoes. We haven''t nailed down the rest of the menu, but those two things are a definite.

That''s tough, I LOVE Christmas dinner. It has to be a tie between the turkey and my mum''s cheese cake. Mmmmmmm.

I love cooking Christmas dinner, really looking forward to it this year.
