I forgot Pulp Fiction. DH and I watched until Bruce Willis'' adult scene, were kind of icked by the prospect, so we shut it off.

So far, the plot (or lack thereof?) was not enough to keep us that interested.

I walked out of Total Recall.

A stupid, misogynistic, gross movie. Arnold, you should be ashamed of yourself for this one!

Quentin Tarantino is one sick puppy.

This movie was not written by Quintin Tarantino. It was written and directed by Eli Roth. I also think it sucked.

The Time Traveler''s Wife. I was excited/nervous because it''s my favourite book, and the movie managed to totally mangle it. They focused on the wrong character, they made the relationship SUPER creepy...ugh. I almost walked out. I *did* offer BF to give him his money back.

The Cable Guy. I''ve seen 5 minutes of it. That''s enough.

Kingpin.

The Big Lebowski. I know so many people love it, I just can''t get into it.

OK. No Joke. Seriously if we voted this one would win for sure. 88 minutes starring Al Pacino. The worst.movie.of.all.time. I don''t mean just a genra I do not like or something. Just the worst movie. Go on, rent it. Prove me wrong. DH and I still laugh and joke about how horrid it was.

I totally forgot about Blair Witch Project. So bad! At the end of the movie, somebody stood up and said "That''s it??" Haha. I totally agreed with that guy. Such a waste.

I also thought Time Traveler''s Wife was awful. Princess, interesting to know that you think it''s nothing like the book. So many people have recommended that book to me, but after seeing the movie I can''t say I was excited to read it. But maybe I will now.

I''m so glad I never saw The Time Travelers Wife because I adored the book and I''ve heard nothing good about the movie!

I''ll add any movie with Tom Green in it to my list of awful movies.

I walked out of Envy when I was in college. It had Ben Stiller and Jack Black. I normally like them, but it was awful.

We have rented some bad ones recently. Legion, Leap Year, and District Nine come to mind.

Elro, the book has none of the awful "How to catch a time traveling predator" feel that the movie had, for starters! That scene was SO creepy in the movie. They also cut out so much complexity between the characters, and removed whole plot lines. The hope and sadness that runs through the book just fell flat in the movie, and Clare is so much more interesting in the book! I mean, it''s called "The Time Traveler''s Wife" - it mainly focuses on Clare and her relationship to Henry, and how she defines herself by it. The movie just focused on the fact that he''d go *pop* into a different time. So lame. It didn''t do the story any justice at all.

Yojimbo. Wow. I slept through most of it in film class it was so bad!

I made DH turn off Devil''s Rejects because it was so damn disturbing, and I happily sat through all 600 Saw movies. Gross. For this reason, I have yet to watch Requiem for a Dream or Precious, though I want to. My psyche probably thanks me for it!

After falling asleep I walked out on The Covenant... stupidest...movie....ever. I walked out when someone said "Harry Potter Kiss my Ass" in the movie. Really? That''s the best line they could come up with?

I rarely watch stupid humor. The Austin Powers movies were horrible

I hated Kill Bill

Any of the Disney Sequels are just unneeded

I can''t watch any of the lonng list of Land before Times. The first one was amazing... really it was.. the rest are childish.

I thought Closer was brilliant acted, but what a horrible story line. Why did they make such a depressing movie, ever?

Going back to the hills have eyes. It is very rare that movie scares me badly enough that I can''t sleep, or that I have to have a light on. I did not sleep for DAYS after seeing this movie. So it ranks high on my scary movie list b/c it never ceases to freak me out. It is sick and twisted though, but sometimes that makes a scary movie for me. I am horribly frightened by things that could happen. Things like that... or in House on Haunted Hill, which plays with your mind and dips its toes into the world of people driven insane. 28 days later frightens me. There was a movie recently which didn''t get very high ratings but which was based on an outbreak of a mutant form of rabies. That freaked me out. Saw movies do because someone might actually be sick enough to torture people that way. Things like that freak.....me....out.

I didn't see the Hills Have Eyes, but the Hills Have Eyes 2 was awful. Stupid and cheesy (I think the set was made of foam). Jeepers Creepers 2 was also terrible, as were the Wrong Turn movies (I think these were the worst). Punch Drunk Love was very strange, and I couldn't stand Rachel Getting Married either.

The only two movies I ever walked out of were the Exorcist (when they re-released it a few years ago) and Master of Disguise with Dana Carvey.

Good to know. I guess he just "presented" it.
I''m not sure either one should be roaming the streets freely.
Seriously, people shouldn''t even be capable of thinking these things.
That movie is so evil.

Being John Malcovich -- I wanted to shut it off early on but FI assured me it gets better... 2/3 of the way through we shut it off. The only place this DVD belongs is in the microwave.

Snakes on a Plane -- Just ICK. Stupid but not so stupid to be funny.

Austin Powers -- Don''t recall which one. Don''t really care.

Things I sat through because others wanted to see the end:

Dumb and Dumber
District 9
Blair Witch Project
The Whicker Man (the old original one)
Jurasic Park
300
Best in Show (I think this is the name -- the one about the crazy people at a dog show)
Pirates of the Caribbean

Recently, Lost in Space. William Hurt was high and didn't give a crap, the plot was indecipherable, the acting wooden, the ending stupid, I could go on and on. The guy who played doctor Smith was the only decent actor so I felt sorry for him trapped in this sh***y movie. One of the few movies that made me feel angry that I watched the whole thing.

Hmm, I loved being John Malkovich. Jurrasic Park the movie was better than the book! And Yojimbo is an AMAZING movie, what Clint Eastwood aspired to be. But I guess everyone has different preferences.

Maybe not the worst movie, but the one I hated the most...I can''t even remember the title, but it was the last Indiana Jones movie. Awful. Lame. Not even remotely worthy to be considered part of the Indy line-up.

I just remembered that DH and I have actually walked out of two movies:

Nacho Libre (It was just too stupid. Even for us.)
and
Sweeney Todd (This was all DH. I love Johnny Depp, so it hurt me to walk out on his movie. I''d watch that man trim his nose hairs for two hours, if I''m being honest. DH didn''t realize that there would be singing. Um . . . hello?! It''s SWEENEY TODD! It''s a MUSICAL! How could he have been unaware of that fact?! Sorry, I was flabbergasted. Two minutes in he leans over to me and says "Why is there so much singing in this movie?" Oy.)

DH and I had a few hours to blow before our flight took off from Hawaii, so after shopping, we went into a movie. It was Solaris with George Clooney. I had never heard of it. I really hate sci fi movies, but thought how bad could it be looking at George Clooney for a few hours...well, it was REALLY REALLY BAD. We walked out and found something else to do before our flight.

Oh and our local movie theater does free kid''s movies during the summer...Igor was playing and listed as Rated G. Well, we started watching the first 15 mins or so and after lots of talk about being evil, killing cats, and then calling a woman a "wentch", we got up and left. I later looked it up and it is PG, but still not a good movie for kids at all.

Eyes Wide Shut. Husband rented it when my twin boys were little, and sleep was precious. I traded that POS movie for sleep and I''m still ticked eight years later!

This is all correct. I started watching it with my mom (who hadn''t read the book) and she refused to continue. I didn''t blame her, but I regrettably stuck it out.

Also, the color of Clare''s hair is wrong. It was far too dark. And that is unacceptable. :)

I generally avoid bad movies unless they are cheap creature features or they are rifftrax epic fail (plan 9 from outer space, the room, etc) which I LOVE, nothing beats syfy original movies. There are some I just can''t stand though.
OMG, those are the best bad movies ever. MegaShark starring Debbie Gibson was truly craptastic.

Ugh, too many terrible movies to choose from. I thought the Notebook was bad but not the WORST. It only stands out to me because it seems to be so hugely popular and left me like,

and

.

More recently... the Lovely Bones sucked. I couldn''t finish it.

And I''m not usually turned off by gore (and I love horror movies!) but the Devil''s Rejects was stupidly, annoyingly, offensively gorey. Far worse than the Saw movies. I''ve never been so irritated by a movie.

The Ghosts of Mars - yuck!

Judge Dredd it was....AWFUL

Eyes Wide Shut. very annoying

Lies and Illusions. I was SHOCKED. Seriously. The most cheaply made movie I have ever seen. And HORRIBLE acting. It was Christian Slater and Cuba Gooding Jr. I have completely sworn off these two actors after their performances.

You can come over here and finish Sweeney Todd if you like! I wasn''t sure I could get JD to watch it, but he saw the previews and was really interested-both of us enjoyed the heck out of it. Tho, I''m another who would gladly watch Johnny Depp trim his nose hairs!

I really hated Juno. I don''t understand what the buzz was about it, at all!
