Phew! For awhile, I thought we were the oldest...you guys have us beat by a year a piece...

But is it me, because I feel we are all young!
(seeing 71 and 73 as collective ages doesn''t help though, does it?)

35 (me) + 40 (DH) = 75 but I think it is more 76 since I was almost 36 when she was born.

Yeah lili -- let''s kick these young whippersnappers out of the old fogey club. If we have more, our combined age (me and DH) will be something like 147.

Yep, because that means you''re still (relatively) young when they finally fly the coop!

Plus you can keep up better the younger you are when they''s babies.

Jas, loved your response! My Grandma actually took 10 years off her age when she was widowed and immigrated to Canada with her two teenage kids, so that someone would be willing to hire her. I''m not sure how she convinced them to put 45 on her driver''s licence rather than 55, but she did!

If this IVF works, we''ll be 35+43 when the kid''s born, so 78. God do I feel old!

yup, those are some of the advantages of having kids at a younger age.
