Reading these lists reminds me of others. Taken from Zoe''s list. . .Always watched Three''s Company, Doogie Howser, The Brady Bunch, Cheers & General Hospital,

Also: Little House on the Prairie
(has anyone listed this?).

My family didn't even own a TV until I was about 13. Then, my dad made ruthless fun of me for watching *anything* on it (it was a 10 inch black & white TV he bought so he could bet on sports). Except the original Star Trek, if I used headphones to listen to it. It was a huge luxury for me to stay up late to watch it- the rubber rocks were quite amusing. So I pretty much know nothing about the TV shows that were popular when I was a kid & teenager. My husband used to call me pop culture illiterate

I still very, very rarely turn on our TV.

I was a big fan of:

Clarissa explains it all

all the Nicktoons

Hey Dude

Salute your shorts

Pete and Pete

Are you afraid of the dark, and SNICK in general

I used to love faking sick and staying home and watching gullah gullah island and eureka''s castle even though I was a little to old to be watching those shows...

ETA: Of course I watched (and still watch) Full House and Saved by the bell too! And Family Matters

This is almost exactly the list of shows I watched! Minus Pete and Pete - couldn''t stand it for some reason. LOVED Gullah Gullah Island and Eureka''s Castle

And I loved Full House and Saved by the Bell too. Oh nostalgia!

Wanted to add that I LOVE Charlie & Lola. Love it love it. I wanted London to be Lola for Halloween but nobody but me would''ve known who she was. Sigh.

oh Nicktoons and shows, and old disney toons, and bill nye and other pbs favs.

for some reason i got the captain planet theme stuck in my head today. i remember all the words, the cartoon intro, the song, and the little ''rap'' at the end before captain planet came back. i jsut wish it wasn''t stuck in my head.

anyone remember ALF? the stupid muppet alien who always wanted to eat the family''s cat?

We really didn''t watch much tv growing up! After-school cartoons and Saturday morning cartoons, Jeopardy before or during dinner sometimes, PBS, a couple Fox shows like Married With Children and Twilight Show. 90210 stands out in my mind, Saved by the Bell, Arsenio Hall, and In Living Color as well.

it''s about time (LOVED this show when i was young!)
gilligans island (totally wanted to live on an island. still do.)
i dream of jeanie
the brady bunch (wanted to be jan - go figure)
the flying nun
gidget
the patty duke show

when i was young - pre 13 - i *loved* tv series about teenage girls. spent countless hours trying to work out which of the ''twins'' i wanted to be on the patty duke show. ditto veronica vs betty in the archie comics. ah yes - those were the days....! :D

saved by the bell was my show. in fact, i''m watching it right now on tbs. usually still have it on every morning around this time.
