I still watch kiddie shows as an adult. I was watching SECRET LIFE OF AN AMERICAN TEENAGER yesterday and they had the girl from BLOSSOM as the new school counselor! and she''s still a bad actress...

so here is my list:

SAVED BY THE BELL (love this show)
CALIFORNIA DREAMS (thought the band manager Sly was cute)
BLOSSOM (her brother was stupid, but could sing well)
SWEET VALLEY HIGH (liked the naughtier twin better)
BEVERLY HILLS 90210
THE REAL WORLD
LIFE GOES ON (remember the neighbor kid who had AIDS?)

and more recently (I watch adult tv shows, too, no really I DO. but here are the kiddie ones:)
SMALLVILLE
THE O.C.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
HANNAH MONTANA
SECRET LIFE OF AN AMERICAN TEENAGER
ALIEN IN AMERICA
10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU

so what about you guys?

Oh my, the list is long. I wasn''t really allowed to watch much tv, but...
Saved by the bell, Full House, Growing Pains, Family Ties, The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince, He-man, She-ra, Ninja Turtles, Smurfs, SESAME STREET!....

Nowadays...the shows for the young''uns:
Gossip Girl. I watched The Gilmore Girls and a few other WB/CW shows in college. I used to watch Lizzie McGuire in college too! LOL.

The list is long, but...you get the idea. :)

I was a big fan of:

Clarissa explains it all
all the Nicktoons
Hey Dude
Salute your shorts
Pete and Pete
Are you afraid of the dark, and SNICK in general

I used to love faking sick and staying home and watching gullah gullah island and eureka's castle even though I was a little to old to be watching those shows...

ETA: Of course I watched (and still watch) Full House and Saved by the bell too! And Family Matters

I was only allowed a half hour of TV a day. When I was younger it was Punky Brewster, as I got older it was Saved by the Bell.

I actually watch reruns of Full House and other classics because I never saw them!

Dennis The Menace

Ducktales

Flintstones

Jem

Inspector Gadget

Popples

Rainbow Brite

Strawberry Shortcake

+1!!! especially Jem! a couple of years ago, one of my friends actually found me old VHS-tapes of Jem for my birthday. it''s one of all-time favorite gifts!

Younger:

Scooby Doo
Smurfs
Ninja Turtles
Sesame Street
The Muppet Show
Mr. Rodger''s Neighborhood
Transformers (I think this was mostly because it was the only thing on after between a certain time slot)

A bit older:

Beverly Hills 98210
Degrassi Jr. High
Fresh Prince (I think I was over 18 when this was on)
Family Ties
M*A*S*H and Star Trek = NOT by choice, but my dad LOVED these shows and I''ve seen ALL of them and when an episode is on, I can tell my kids what will happen. My mom loved Star Trek the Next Generation (she had a thing for Pickard!) and I''ve also seen all of those.
Home Improvement

Plus more. . .cannot recall.

I''m HORRIFIED by the shows on TV now. My kids watch Nickelodeon and the ONLY show I like out of the bunch is Spongebob. The rest, like iCarly, are WAY innappropriate for kids. We''re debated turning of cable for a month or two. I would set the TV so the kids can''t watch certain shows, but then I am taking out shows they do love that I think are okay, like Johnny Test and a few other more creative ones, so I''m kind of thinking of the all-or-nothing approach and instead upping our Netflix package.

Full House
Family Matters
Saved by the Bell
Power Rangers
VR Troopers
Darkwing Duck
Barney and Sesame Street (that''s when I was really young...

)

I loved those shows and I still watch reruns when they''re on TV!

Ages 3-15:

Romper Room
Wonderama
The Flinstones
Captain Kangaroo
Speed Racer
The Soupy Sales Show
Leave It to Beaver
Dobie Gillis
I Love Lucy
Queen for a Day --- my mom used to watch this all the time
December Bride - mom''s favorite too.
Gidget
I Dream of Genie
Bewitched
The Brady Bunch
The Saint (I still love Roger Moore!!)
Have Gun Will Travel
77 Sunset Strip
Route 66
Star Trek (when it first came out I saw it on my neighbor''s color tv! that was areal treat)
Laugh In

BTW, I still remember the original Saturday Night Live with Dan Ackroyd, Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, etc and it was the best!!!!!

After I had my DD, I loved watching Sesame Street with her, along with Arthur, Lizzie Maguire

When I was REALLY small, I watched Silverhawks, The Get-Along Gang, Strawberry Shortcake, Jem, and Rescue Rangers!

When I was REALLY small, I watched Silverhawks, The Get-Along Gang, Strawberry Shortcake, Jem, and Rescue Rangers!

Yay JEM!! She is TRULY OUTRAGEOUS haha! (My brother bought me bootlegged vcd''s years ago of all the episodes. They''re not great quality tho, so may need to ask for better copies some time!)

He-Man, Thundercats, Transformers, Scooby Doo, Muppet Babies, Dungeons & Dragons (my brother bought me the DVD''s for my birthday this year and it''s SO fun to watch!)..the shows on PBS like 3-2-1 Contact etc (we only got 4 channels), Electric Company, Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Mr. Rogers, Muppet Show (Loves me some Kermit), Ninja Turtles, Cosby Show (etc), Star Trek Next Generation when I was a little older (and I won''t lie, I love ALL the ST movies, especially the original ones). Mom and I used to watch Cartoon Network all the time, and we''d watch Space Ghost Coast to Coast (and laaaaaugh oh it was funny), Powerpuff Girls, 2 Stupid Dogs, Cow & Chicken. Oh, and we loved Three''s Company, Brady Bunch, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, Leave it to Beaver etc.

I remember 2 shows that were probably only on 1 season-one was like, Snow White and Prince Charming in more modern times or something..I was young so don''t really remember. And there was one about kids that were into playing D&D-it wasn''t the cartoon version that we watched on Saturday mornings, this was w/actual actors.

We liked Tales From the Darkside and Dr. Who also..even tho we had to sneak out of our rooms to watch them, hiding behind the couch b/c they were on after our bedtime and Darkside was scary.

when I was little-Sesame street, Daniel Boone, Davy Crocket, Little House on the Prarie and Mash (but we didn''t watch very much TV)

middle/jr. high school-Saved by the bell, blossom, cosby show, a different world

high school-law and order, friends, ER

Anyone here watched Soupy Sales?
Yep! I watched Soupy Sales. I remember the pie inthe face and I even remember him telling the kids to find the green papers in the parfents wallets and mail it to him! Once my girlfriend were in NYC at Rockerfeller Center and we saw Soupy Sales and when we called out his name, he froze strining a pose , like he was walking in slow motion. He stopped traffic both ways!

Did you ever watch the Paul Winchell show? He was the ventriloquist with the dummies Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead. He was also the voice of Tigger in the Winnie the Pooh movies/shows.

Hey now-He Man was fun! I am Adam, Prince of Eternia and defender of the secrets of Castle Grayskull. This is Cringer, my "fearless" friend. Fabulous, secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said, "By the Power of Grayskull!....I HAVE THE POWER!

Jeez I love those old cartoons!

Doogie Howser (I think this was on when I was in HS, late 80s-early 90s)
The Wonder Years (when I was in HS)
Home Improvement
Three's Company (my mom tried to not let me watch it though)
General Hospital (I began watching it in 4rd grade with a friend and her nanny, and I watched it until college)
The Young and the Restless and As the World Turns (with my mom, usually when she was ironing or folding clothes, for some reason)
Family Ties
Life Goes On
Our House
The Courtship if Eddie's Father (reruns)
The Brady Bunch (reruns)
I Love Lucy (occasionally)

I have a sister who's 6 years younger than me, so I also watched some of the cartoons she liked: the Muppet Babies and Inspector Gadget come to mind
