What to do when PS goes down?

I''m reasonably sure everything will be saved. I''ve been through overhauls of 2 other forums, so I hope that''s the case. Hope I can get back on when PS is up and running again too.

I guess I will be bonding with my Kindle, playing a little WoW, and maybe gardening a bit. Hope it all works out with the move!

What will happen when we type pricescope.com What will come up??

All you need to do is continue to type pricescope.com and it should magically show the new site.

And with the new site do we have to transfer our avatar's?? Or will that happen automatically??

All avatars, images and files should be moved. It is the main reason for the forum to be done for a bit. We are trying to move all 2 million posts.

If I have to do it myself, I will be lost.

We are here to help and make the transitions easy for eveyone.

I can't wait to see the new PS.

Will old threads be saved??? That is our intentions. We hope not to lose any.


I am looking forward to seing the 2.0 version.

I will cry and whimper and curl up under a blanket. My laptop will tease me to pick it up but I''ll be strong and not get suckered in knowing if there is not PS to look at then why bother? Maybe I can print out tons of threads and have them to read over those long, lonely hours.

I would never have thought there''d be a "good" time for PS to be down...HOWEVER, I have my last 3 final exams of the year on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. So, hopefully I will be forced to study!
