I see some models from $39.99 to $300.+ What should I look for and stay away from? I would like an above average unit.

Thanks

All are prone to mechanical failure at some point, so I personally wouldn''t put a lot of money into an ultrasound. I got mine from amazon, and it works great. I would get one with a stainless steel tub, in a size that seemed most appropriate to your needs. I also have a Jewel Jet steamer, so really, all bases are covered. You don''t have to have one that heats water for you as you can use hot water in your U/S, and the steel tub keeps it quite hot for several minutes.

don''t buy the crappy Sharper Image plastic model. buy one with a S/S tank that''s "made in the U.S.A" for about $125-$150. the better made ones will last for years, unlike the SI that will only last 6 months, if you''re lucky.

I highly recommend the Crest US cleaner. I love the heating function, it does a great job.

Any other brand names and specs to look for? 42,000 Hz etc
