DD- I Asked WF when they did my very first custom mount, I asked the very same question, and leon said this "its much easier to clean, however, it is also very easy to get it dirty." so I asked about how bout not having the holes (this was for my princess channel sidestones) he responded that it was harder to get it dirty but it would be just as hard to clean"Date: 5/28/2009 9:18:05 AM

Here is something relevant that I stumbled on in another thread: Jellybean makes this comment about the impracticality of a full eternity ring when you have small kids: ''This has become a case of what other gross things can Jellybean get in her eternity band. Desitin was probably the worst yet, although the ketchup, mashed potatoes (with gravy) and -- get this -- infant vitamin drops were all pretty bad. I managed to spill my son''s bottle of PolyViSol all over myself and the kitchen table on Sunday, ruining my shirt (iron stains!) and getting it all over my ring! I was so afraid I was going to get it under the diamonds but it doesn''t look like I did... My husband asks why I even bother to wear it.'' She was contemplating a half-eternty at the time![]()
Musey Such holes are so common in jewelry, but what are they even for?? There''sa thread about it somwhere, I saw in linked once and didn''t read it. They seem like all they would do is trap messy things under the stones!

Also,, to your earlier question- I did miss it, but then again, it was more for comfort and a hassle for me to keep taking off and putting it on while at home.
