what is your favorite fruit?

bought some fresh mango at the Asian market last week, it tasted okay. now i''m waiting for some fresh "Lychee" to show up. should be in season within the next couple of weeks.

I really don''t think there''s a fruit I DON''T like! Except maybe Papaya... makes my face itch.

We just had some fabulous strawberries off the plants on our patio but they are about to wrap up production, I think. The plants are getting leggy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE peaches, apples, grapes, mangoes, cherries, bananas, nectarines, oranges, etc.... I love watermelon but my DH doesn''t, so I''ve had to settle for those tiny "personal watermelons" which strikes me as rather hilarious! "This is MY watermelon and I''m not sharing! It''s PERSONAL!"

2 : Papaya (S. American/Caribbean papaya--the ones we get in the States are completely different and not yummy IMO)
3 : Concord grapes from the farmer''s market (yum!)

I like lots of fruit, but my absolute favorite is white peaches. We actually had a white peach tree in my backyard growing up and they are just the most lovely thing; sweeter and softer than yellow peaches.

I also like cherries, apricote, red grapes, bananas, pinapples, oranges, blood oranges, sweet lemons (they are HUGE and have a really thick rind), some apples and rasberries. I am sure there are more I am not thinking of.

There are some fruits I don''t like, especially melons. I have yet to find a single melon I like.

Oh Gosh, I LOVE fruit, give me a nice piece of fruit over any dessert, yum!!!!

Growing up we were hardly ever allowed candy or sweets, so maybe that is why I love fruit so much!

We''ve already had Lychee here!!! It was my first time trying it and I loved it. I''m going to find out how to grow it.

I''ve been really big on watermelon this year.But my favs are Blueberries, blackberries, and peaches. yumyumyum. We get wild blackberries here, and TONS of blueberries so I''ve been chowing down on those!!!

kumquats. They''re like candy. But we hardly get them here. So when we do get them they get preserved and frozen. I have some in my freezer right now actually!

But I''ll eat any fruit. I love them all.

I''m deathly allergic to strawberries, so I have no idea what they taste like. And kiwis make my mouth swell up to ridiculous proportions, but that only started when I was 18 so I really do love kiwis.

Right now our fridge is full of:

Blueberries and Strawberries. We put them on yogurt and make smoothies out of them.

Oh, we have bananas too. This weekend we are headed to the produce stand to buy more.
