What is your favorite color polish to accent yr diamonds?

I seem to love any frosted color polish that is light to medium.

Out of curiosity, is this another thread you're posting that you aren't going to respond back to?

To answer your question...light colored polishes in the summer are my favorite, they seem to make my fingers look less thick for some reason.

I like dark colors, my favorites being a deep harlot red, and black. I'm usually way too lazy or busy to do it though, its usually all I can do to keep them filed and clean.

I don't have many diamonds to show off, but I thought I'd say I like pink nail polish, or deep burgundy. I also like getting a french manicure

I think dark colors do make my diamonds stand out and I was just complaining to my husband that the most I can do with my nails is keep them clean these days!

Moonglow--a pale mauve by Joan Rivers {Yes, by JOAN RIVERS, the comedienne}. It's a beautiful shade that suits my coloring perfectly. It's a limited edition and I'm currently running out. I've tried to mix my own with white and various shades of lilac, but I just can't get it right.

I also like Essie Secret Affair, Neo Whimisical and South of the Highway, Revlon's Lilac Pastel.

I left the site temporarily because my feelings were hurt. Anyway, I'm back now.

I love french mani's too. I love reds and dark colors but it looks sloppy no matter how neat i apply it.
and it's hard to remove around skin even w/ acetone!

I got my ring and i'm lovin it. Just hard when u see a few diamonds that u like and it's like, did i get the best one? what about the others, u know? I want them too!

I didn't have time to get a mani before my wedding - just didn't happen! I scrubbed off what I could but didn't get lot of it, fortunately it was just clear and shiny... only bride around who didn't get her nails done for her wedding, probably.

DH, on the other hand, was treated to the full mani/pedi experience by his mother the day before - complete with clear high-polish varnish. He spent most of the honeymoon picking it off with his nails, with limited success - tech did a good job on him

i tried to find u a moonglow on ebay but can't find it. i hope u find it somehow. If you write to Joan Rivers
on her website, she'll respond thru her reps. I told her she ran out of a size and she got it back in stock asap thanks to my request.

so give her a try and tell her how much u love that color and are trying to recreate it. she might sell u whatever they have left!

If you apply some lotion or cuticle cream around your nails before you polish, it makes it much easier to get it off your fingers. Also, when you do your fingers first, and then your thumbs, it turns out much more neat. Cosmo tips
