Mine is the Yelp AP. It's well thought out, the connections to other functions work perfectly (to the phone for calls, to browser and navigation for maps, to GPS period).

Best AP I've used.

What's your favorite?

I'm pretty sure you are talking about apps (applications) for phones? In that case, love me some Facebook! I also use the TripAdvisor app almost everyday to daydream.

MotionX, the navigation ap. Without her I'd be lost down here (but she does get a little b!tchy sometimes!). I can just tell she wants to say, "Dammit, I told you to turn back there! Do you want me to tell you how to get there or not?!!"

Open Tabel and the Oakley Durf Report .... Also the new Hurricane Tracker... Florida Girl..

Mine is definitely Yelp. Always use it when going on vacation, especially for restaurants, wineries ( we do a lot of winery tours) , hotels, bed and breakfast inns, etc.

Waze navigation app is definitely one of my most used, I always check it in the morning to see if there are any accidents so I can avoid taking the express way. I'll have to try the one that Dee*Jay likes to see which I prefer.

One of my new favorites is MixBooth. You take a photo of yourself and mix it with someone else's face (either one of their pre-set faces or one of your photos of someone else's face). Yeah it's dumb but fricken hilarious. The app does cost $1 though.

I use Verizon navigator and hate it. I'll have to check some of these out. And yes, I clearly meant apps.

I love Yelp, but don't use it as an AP. Once I get my iPhone, I'll probably use it.

One thing about Yelp that is kind of "off" is that companies DO contact reviewers and try and get them to change their reviews. This has happened to me TWICE now. The second time, the owner left me a long explaination of her business practices, offered me a free drink from her establishment, then asked me to remove my review! So if you ever go to a resturant that ends up being yucky but has all great reviews, that may be because they bribed reviewers. lol (And, FWIW, I ignored the second person who contacted me...the first time, I was curious and responded, but the person then didn't reply again so I don't know why they bothered me in the first place.)

I was contacted once. I didn't remove. But did go back (no bribery accepted and I didn't tell them I was going to do so) and try it out, and I 'updated' stating that my second time was better-- but that I still wouldn't be back.

Just say no to peer pressure.

When it comes to Yelp, I'm soooo opinionated. It'd take A LOT to get me to change my review. A free drink? Um, no. It'd cost more in gas to get to the place than the cost of the drink! Maybe for free diamonds, I'd cave to my stance... ::)

Ooh, it's too hard to choose just one. I use Urbanspoon and Yelp to find things. WhatsApp is great for texting friends in foreign countries for free (well, after the 99 cents or whatever that the app costs initially). Get Running for my couch to 5k workouts. Mint and Balance Forecasting for financial stuff. These's a transit app for my city so I can see when the bus is coming. And lots of cooking apps (Cooks Illustrated, How to Cook Everything and HTCE Vegetarian, Epicurious, and Mealboard which is a super-awesome meal planning app). I have a ton of others, most of which are just taking up space, but these are the ones I use regularly.

I go through phases with apps, but one of the ones I still love and use regularly is FlightTrack. Although it is pricey at $5.

Pinterest finally came out with a functional app. Very useful for entertainment while breast feeding. And soooo addicting.
