Hey ladies,

I have just started the planning process and could use a little help, please

I was wondering if you all had any input on who has been the best for consolidating info on guest lists or any website that is good and tracking guests'' info, etc. Also is there a good one to send out to everyone to gather physical addresses?

Thanks!

I tried a few, and ended up using excel! I didn''t find anything that I thought was particularly user friendly...

I think WeddingWire is one a few PSers use but I think you'll have to physically have to enter in the addresses yourself. I don't believe there's a feature that allows you to send out to everyone to gather physical addresses.

ditto. i''m just using excel too :)

but i think i''ve heard good things about weddingwire.com

I'm a strong fan of weddingwire.com. You can input all your info on there, or you can import it as an excel file. Then, as you need to, you can print or export custom reports/files to excel. I found it amazingly useful for tracking invites, address, meal choices, gifts, seating chart, etc. Definitely give it a try.

ETA: The reason I used wedding wire over just excel was everybody involved could log in and make updates as necessary from wherever they were at the time.

If you had other people logging in and making updates for you you were one lucky lady!!!

I also use Excel & Google docs.

I used wedshare.com for my website and tried to use the tools for gift tracking guest tracking etc. I switched all tracking over to Google Docs. It was fantastic. You can share the docs with anyone so I''d share my seating charts or lists or what have you with the people involved in the wedding. They can edit the docs too if you give them permission.

haha i tried to use google docs as well, but none of my parents could catch on! but yes, google docs is also an awesome resource!

Haha, really I only had my FI helping to add things, and then only sometimes. But, it was nice that when he wanted to know XYorZ I could just say "it''s on wedding wire....look it up".

Thanks for the advice ladies,

I have signed up for wedding wire and will get on it this weekend to play around
