I love magazines, I would like to get one or two bridal ones.
Right now I am hoping to find one about pre engagements as well as post. I got one called "Engagement101" but it wasn't the most informative. There seems to be several to choose from, just thought I'd ask here first to see if a trip to Barnes & Noble is in order.

My checklist right now is engagement rings and stories about the process.

Hopefully there's one out there with this in it! I posted a thread and got responses that were great, but like I said, I love magazines!

Lover
I'm not sure about engagement, but as an overall bridal magazine (with great dress ads) I love The Knot.

I like The Knot too... but not their website!

me either, it's horrible to try to navigate for me.

DD is getting married 9-10-11 so I've been buying bridal magazines like crazy. I do like The Knot and also their special state editions if they print one for your state. Also Brides and I think Brides Guide. Gosh there are about 5 or 6 it seems. Have fun looking!!

I don't know that a magazine is out there for pre-engagement. For bridal mags I like The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Modern Bride.

Thank you for the responses! I didn't realize The Knot had a magazine. I thought they just had a website! After this I decided to go to B&N and pick up a copy and there was also one for my state. They had a few pages about engagement rings and I saw some ads for ring makers I didn't know about. I learned a bunch of other stuff too but it definitely helped with what I wanted it to. Now I can't wait for the rest, there's so much to planning!

I never saw many with an abundance of ring info. I really liked Martha, InStyle Weddings, Bride and Bloom, Town and Country Weddings, Elegant Bride ( I think may be discontinued) Ormonde Wedding Style. I pretty much liked all the them. You and Your wedding is good too (UK)

Fun fun fun!

I completely agree with dragonfly411. I used the knot kansas city for my wedding. It was really helpful because the dresses they showed and the wedding venues, etc., were all local!
