How timely- we just arrived at the beach house and our stone work and deck is finally all finished...yay!! And this is behind us, right now.

Man, it's hot here too!! Feels like over 100 degrees F!! Feels hotter than the city if that's possible.

For some reason my phone (aka my camera) is taking its sweet time in sending these photos to my computer but here are a few that finally came through. I also got a pic of our neighborhood bunny whom I named Marvin.

As an added bonus you can sort of see my brand new hoop earrings that just arrived in the mail today!

Hey Skippy! Thank you! That is so sweet of you to say...we were a hot mess though because it took us almost 2 hours to get there last night because of construction all over the roads. Seems like all the highways, freeways, etc are under construction these days. The beach house is in NJ- very close to Sandy Hook beach (if you know it). One of the reasons we moved here is the ferry to the city so when we retire we don't always have to drive into the city. My dh is actually on his way to work right now in downtown manhattan via ferry. Today is the first time he took it. So it is convenient to the city but because we have 4 cats we drive here with them from NY. Today is sort of an experiment because my dh wants to stay here all summer but for me it would be too difficult as I work in brooklyn most of the week and that would add to my commute. But it works for Fridays when we come here Thursday nights since I am off Fridays. Today is also the first day I am all alone at the beach house. So I might be on PS most of the day since it's too hot to stay outside for very long.

DF, I could use the company right now- it is thundering and lightning and I am a bit scared to tell you the truth. It is loud loud loud and now it just started pouring. If I wasn't scared of the thunder and lightning I could actually enjoy the show because it is a sight to see. But I am scared and the cats are all hiding. Saving themselves, leaving me all alone!!
