Lots of looks and no replies. Is it not a show stopper?

You look stunning! I think the only thing I don't live is the ruffles on the train. I do normally like them but these seem slightly large for me. Honestly, though, you look so amazing that I would never worry about the ruffles.
Does it make you feel Bride Beautiful??

It looks great, but I agree that I''m not a fan of the ruffles. There is also a lot going on in the gown with the beading, but I prefer a more simple look than a lot of busy details.

The photo also looks a bit elongated on my computer screen, which makes it difficult to judge how the dress really looks.

You have a great figure, have you tried on any other dresses?

The photo looks elongated and it looks like you''re standing on a box. It''s really hard to tell what the dress looks like because standing on the box, and the elongated photo, will make you appear taller and thinner in photos.

The style of the dress is nice, just can''t actually tell what it looks like on you. Do you like it?

You look gorgeous! The question is--is this dress what you''ve dreamed about as your wedding dress? You have a great figure and 99% of the dresses you will look great in, so you don''t have to ask do I look good in the dress, you have to ask is this dress doing what I want it to do for me? The fabric looks a bit shiny, then lots of beading, and the extra ruffles means a very sparkly-attention getting dress. So show-stopper, yes! If this fits your personality and your venue (doesn''t look like a beach wedding dress LOL!)then great. Just make sure you feel like the dress enhances you and you are the show stopper, not the dress. You just can''t tell that in a picture.Ask your friends and loved ones to see if they say you look amazing in the dress and not wow, what a dress, if you know what I mean. I am old enough to be your Mom and pretty conservative to boot and my daughter says I have no fashion sense, so I usually don''t post about dresses, just lurk for the joy of seeing everyone in those gowns, but you are probably waiting at the computer like I do when I post and said no one was posting so I felt compelled to answer. :) Good luck!

I think it fits your body perfectly. I like it a lot, ruffles and all. The ruffles wouldn't have been my first pick initially, but I sort of like them because they make your dress different from so many others.

The important thing is, how do YOU feel in it? Does it make you feel

I'm not feeling the ruffles either

i also don't care much for the embroidery. as many others mentioned, you are bound to look lovely in almost anything you try, i just don't feel like this dress is enhancing your assets

i think it''s a beautiful dress and you look gorgeous.

however, as other people have mentioned, you looked elongated on the photo (you mentioned in your other thread that you''re 4''11/ 100 lbs., but the photo makes you look more like 5''7"/110 pounds) and it''s hard to tell whether the dress flatters you in real life as it does in this photo.

ditto all of purrfectpear''s post. I actually like the ruffles also. It is all up to whether you like it though.

From what I can tell in the stretched picture, you look awesome and the dress is very pretty. Since you are small, have you discussed how it will be shortened with the salon? Hollow-to-hem specified when ordering the dress or is it possible to hem it after it is made (a foot too long)?

The others have definitely touched on the ruffles and the beading/embroidery. And I'm torn on the fabric - I can't tell from the pic if it is too shiny looking or really really nice and the flash just caused this effect. It is also for you to decide if you want that rich and decadent look. I can imagine a lot of ball gowns might be too much for someone of your stature, so this is a way to get a fancy dress without too much dress!

One last point - is this your most favorite color for a wedding dress? With your lovely skin tone, you might possibly look better with a dress slightly lighter in color (not stark white, but a bit lighter) for contrast? That is really personal pref. as well.

Good luck. So other pictures of you in other dresses with correct aspect ratio will also help. And knowing what look you are going for in a wedding dress.

I think it''s beautiful and elegant and you look gorgeous in it!

What Sha said!

I really like it!! Do you think it''s THE dress?

You look divine. The colour is so perfectl against your skin, but I do too have to add that I am not the hugest fan of the ruffles.

BUT in the end, it''s your dress - if you feel like it''s THE dress, then go for it. You look stunning.

You all are very sweet! Thank you so much for the kind words and advice.
I''ll keep posting pictures!

I think it looks beautiful! And I might be alone, but I LOOOOVE the ruffles.

I think the shape is lovely on you. The ruffles may be more of a personal taste thing...some are going to like them and some aren''t. If you love them, go for it!

It is hard to tell with the stretch look of the photo, but I like it. I think you look amazing in the dress. I am just wondering it they have to take it up. I guess they could heighten the dress from the bottom and replace the ruffle. I actually like the ruffle, but would like it better if it had a little 3/4 inch or so of the ruffle at the top of the dress too.

The question is, how do you like the dress?

You would make a burlap sack look haute couture.

I love the dress generally but not the ruffles specifically.

Oh I think it''s gorgeous, the ruffles are fab, and your figure is to die for!

you look great in it, if its want you want and it looks good, thats all that mattters!!!!!!!

I would KILL for your body! Great fit!
