I love the top on you! The sweetheart neckline is PERFECT on you!

My only issue is the flower - it seems to be on your upper thigh - from what I can tell - The placement of the flower kind of shortens you to me - but it could just be the angle of the picture in the 1st pic - because i don''t see it as much in the 2nd pic you posted!

PS - Isn''t the dress off to the back in the 2nd pic a PSer''s dress?!

Well the other dress I am looking at is Maggie Sottero Adriana, the problem with it is that I haven''t been able to find it anywere and the loaner dress from Maggie is a size 6 (I am no size 6) so I would need to squeeze into it. But it''s same neckline minus the flowers. I am not sure about it shortening me because I am 5''10" to begin with

and with heels I am going to be uber tall. I am also not sure about the dress in the background! It is very pretty though and very intricate.

That looks very similar to my dress so I love it! I have the same issue with the flower though - there was one on my dress too, but I had them take it off.

Love the neckline and the ruching!

i love it--it fits you really well, too! kinda wish that was my dress now...curse my munchkin legs!! ::stomps off down the yellow brick road::

I''ll be honest, I love the neckline, the draping of the fabric; everything else . . . not so much. But those are my personal choices; how do you feel about the dress? I think you are definitely going the right direction as far as shape and neckline; they are very becoming. You are going to look great in that style because you really have the right figure for it and the height to carry it off well.

Reply, I really like it on you. I am a lil biased because I tried on something quite similar, so I happen to like the style. I also think it fits you quite well.

Love the front view...not sure what is going on with the back though...can''t quite put my finger on it. I think it may be the corsety/tieup "V" shape...to me it kind of interrupts the flow of the dress.

I personally love the way that a corset back makes my front look I need to work on my back some (well a lot) the only thing I kinda don''t like about the dress is the flowers (which can be taken off) and the asymmetrical skirt. I think I would like it better if it were an A-line.

Rockzilla do you not like the corset back at all?

HollyS what do you mean not anything else? Like the corset back, the flowers?

Somehow the draping makes you look like you have a tummy pooch? I''m not a fan of the lace up backs either. The material seems thin, but that may just be because it''s a sample and needs to be pressed.

I do like the bust area and neckline though

Weelllll I do have a tummy pooch (the corset was not tied tight) I will take other picture tomorrow when it is tied properly!

Hmmm...I think my issue with the corset back is that the ruching of the fabric seems to be going across, diagonally, on its merry way...and then the corset kind of interrupts it? Does that make any sense? The other thing with it is that it sort of goes down over your butt [sorry if this is rude...] and kind of disguises your figure.

I think the nice thing about a corset back is that is is easily adjustable, and I think this is what you like about it as well. Maybe if the corset were shorter and/or the ruching went straight across rather than diagonal?

The front I think looks great, but if you are unsure maybe you can keep looking? There are so many dresses out there...are you on a deadline?

I have literally tried on like 60 dresses already I AM tired and just want to find the one

don''t get discouraged, allie! i tried on about that many, too, and i got so frustrated that i told my mother i was just going to wear a wifebeater and sweatpants(hey, HANES is a designer name, right? hehe), but i finally found the dress of my dreams, so don''t give up. you''re a lovely girl, so i''m sure there are tons of dresses out there that''d emphasize how beautiful you are. you''re heading in the right direction--maybe take those photos with you for future shopping so you can give the sales assistants an idea of what you like and don''t like? good luck!

Love the top, not super crazy about the bottom, especially the hem...for some reason it doesn''t look well-finished or something. I really, really like the bodice, though.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I think you are definitely on the right track though. I would look for something with a different fabric but the same (or similar) style. I do love the bodice though.

::cracking up at my own stupidity:: okay so the names on the links in that last post...yeeeeeahh...hahaha! usually when i''m naming pictures, i type in a name so i know what it is, then hit a bunch of random keys afterwards so i don''t have to worry about another pic on the site already having the same name and it not letting me upload it. old habits die hard i guess! sorry about all the gibberish!

I really love the dress. The back looks a bit weird though--like bunchy but it''s probably because it''s a sample dress.

I really love that dress on you. You have a lovely figure. Its a very flattering shape.

Love the front on you, but somehow the back does not do your lovely curves justice. Perhaps with a proper lacing up that will be remedied.

Doodle I really love the sottero midgley and the davinci (in the picture). The problem with the Davinci is that the material is really cheap looking in person. If you think the Maggie looks cheap the Davinci does not really compare (I hope I am not insulting anyone if they own that dress) The material is just not me. I will try to locate the Sottero Midgley and see what happens. Thanks for finding all those for me!

I agree...the front looks fantastic, the back isn''t looking right.

I say try a Maggie dress without the asymmetrical skirt, like you said. I love the Maggie corset dresses...so much that I''m wearing one.

Here are some of me in the same dress except gold and properly tied (these are from the winter time)

Excuse this picture the lady kept snapping while I was talking but you can see the back.

One more of the detailing. (Come to think of it the lady is not a very good picture taker.)

Gorgeous - looks like it was made for you. The neckline is great and I love the back. I''m not a fan of flowers like that though, but you could always have them take that off if you want.

Thanks Honey!

I really like the cut of the dress on top and the corset back. I would get the flowers taken off and replaced with a brooch maybe.
