What do you sleep in?

I have these herbal neck wraps that you can microwave. I use those in the winter--they smell divine, they keep my feet warm, and they are not socks! I wish I could wear socks to bed, I''d save a lot of time running into the kitchen with those darn herbal wraps.

Linda, if I start with them I end up removing them in my sleep as I get to be fricassied otherwise. And I happen to have a tendency to cold tootsies as I have some circulatory issues.

Caroline,

Sometimes I take mine off too, but when it is realllllly cold I leave them on. In winter I am always cold anyway.

Haven: I have a herbal neck wrap too. You are right it is wonderful.

I can never wear socks to sleep! I''ve tried and they ALWAYS end up coming off in the middle of the night. When my feet are cold I use DH as a foot warmer. I am so nice to him.

Linda, I got these micro fleece bootie things that I like.

Have you tried a hot water bottle? I sometimes have three in bed with me, for my neck, my stomach and my feet. It cools off so I am able to get feet warmed without keeping them over heated.

Pre-baby, nothing. Post-baby (1st year) when I was up a lot, pajama pants and tanks. Now, I am up a bit with the little man at night, so I am moving into camis and boy shorts (in an attempt to be a bit sexier and less mommy). What do you where to bed???

Same for me-- camis/tanks and boy shorts. I find this is a good compromise between comfy & non-restricting, while still providing some warmth.

I cannot, CANNOT tolerate any of the following while sleeping: sleeves, high collars, pants or socks.

No shoes, Freke?????

Just the ones in my avatar. Those are my sleepy shoes. They match all my undies.

JK. No shoes. I can''t have anything on my feet at night.

Though I change bed sheets weekly, I still don''t feel comfortable or completely clean sleeping naked in the sheets all night. I usually have undie and a comfy sleepshirt on, or if really hot, a tank top.

wow..so many who sleep naked eh??i could never do it...i dunno...am with emph on this one..have to have SOMETHING on at least...so its usually tank top and pj bottoms or shorts...

Dare I ask what is going on at 2 a.m.???
i usually go take a pee.

But what are you wearing, Dancing Fire???

Usually nothing. I have a bunch of the silk slips that I sometimes wear with nothing. I''ve heard from doctors that it''s better for women to not wear undies when sleeping- to get some... air. Sometimes a tank and nothing when it''s cooler and I''ll be wrapped in covers, simply to prevent the piercing from getting caught. My robe is always near if ever there is a ''just in case''. I''m not a small girl, but I normally spend the morning like that while getting ready.

My strange thing is that I have to have my feet covered. I don''t care how hot it is, I cannot get comfortable or sleep if my feet or part of my legs aren''t covered.

I'm with ephemery, zhuzhu and msb700... I can't sleep without something on either. Usually yoga capris and a cami for me.

At the moment because I am freezing I am currently sleeping in 2 pairs of trackies/leggings, 2-3 shirts and a HUGE hoodie jumper under the quilt the temps are currently ranging from 10C-22C (50F-72F).

Usually I am a tee or singlet and shorts girl.

Summer: cotton voile nightgowns, as thin, soft, and pretty as possible.

Winter: Satin PJ bottoms and T-shirts
Or I have a flannel-lined satin sleep shirt I love; very cozy!

LOL -- think of the marketing possibilities.

Absolutely nada, although most times, which isn''t very sexy, I wear just socks. I hate having my feet not covered when I''m in bed.

I usually sleep in undies and a t-shirt or something loose. I hate feeling constricted. I do sleep with socks on though and I cannot sleep without them! I feel like they are my security blanket or something! I am like Nytemist, my feet and legs have to be covered by the blankets as well or I won''t sleep.

I am in one of two things...my black VS nightgown or my cotten Betsy Johnson pink one with panties. I can''t go without something over me. I just imagine a bed bug or something. I gotta have my chonis...or however you spell that in spanish.

I still get hot flashes, so the thought of anything on my legs, arms, feet, arrrrghhhh, I wouldn''t be able to sleep at all.

ooh fun thread! I''m a tank top (lots with built-in bra) and PJ pants. I think they look cute

and haven''t had any complaints yet. Winter is cold here so I''ll usually throw on a long sleeved thin top as well.

nothing works quite like layers!

Most nights, girl boxers and a boy's undershirt or a cami.

I'm not very sexy.

When it''s cold I love to sleep in sweats and socks. Now that it is hot, just my undies and a tank top. No bra though, too constricting.

I like men''s boxer-brief thingies. They''re not too loose but they have a little breathing room. I like to give myself a break from my regular undies and get a little air.
And then a big t-shirt or a tank. Occasionally no shirt feels really nice. BUT, I wish I could sleep in nothing at all. I''m such an insomniac -- I''m up and down all night. So I feel weird without anything on.

Hahaha, I love this thread! You guys crack me up.

I have this bizarre obsession with pj pants. I LOVE them. Can''t have enough. I think I own like 25 pairs or something whack like that? (Oh yeah, I did it, I used the word ''whack'' in a sentence outside of the ''80s.) It''s nuts. They are my favourite thing because they are sooooo comfy, so I almost always have a pair of pj pants with either a t-shirt or a sweatshirt (depending on how cold it is) on when I go to bed.

J has been trying to persuade me to sleep al fresco, which I do occasionally now, but I''m still not totally comfortable with it so I keep my pj pants and shirt on the floor by the bed in case I get cold or have to walk to the bathroom or something. He always sleeps nekkid, even in the dead of winter, which would be strange except that he''s like a free portable heater, so I get why he can do it. I''m almost always freezing, so in winter he''ll be snuggled up with me wearing nothing, and I''ll have something like 3 layers on and mega-fuzzy socks. It''s rather amusing (and not even remotely sexy

). We make quite a pair.

I hate sleeping naked! I''m impressed by all of you who do. I just feel uncomfortable without SOMEthing on, when I''m reading before falling asleep, trapising to the bathroom at 3am, getting up in the morning, etc. Maybe that''s indicative of some sort of subconscious hang-up, who knows.

My standard night-time uniform is yoga pants/capris and a tee/cami/tank... and I usually change into it as soon as I get home from work or dinner or wherever I''ve been. No bra or undies. DH hates when I wear big, oversized things, and the poor guy doesn''t ask for much, so I try to at least make sure everything fits.

I, too cannot sleep in the buck. just don`t feel comfortable and like everything is `hanging out`. I normally sleep in tank tops and shorts or pants depending on the season...maybe just underwear on bottom.... I too have 2 little boys who come in and out at night (sometimes) and a newborn (1 week!!!) so yeah- comfortable is key right now!!
