There''s so much to list lol

~He gets really irritated with my half bottles of water all over the house. I usually drink the water until it isn''t cold anymore and then leave it alone. But I never put it back in the fridge. One day he collected all of them from every room of the house and put it on our dresser. There were nearly 15 bottles
emembarrassed.gif
.
Yea, the water thing. I always ask him for a glass of water before we go to bed (b/c he''s up shutting all the lights off and locking the door) so it''s become something he does for me every night. BUT even though he does it, he complains that I never drink the water from the night before. BUT I say, I don''t have to drink it, I just like to have it there in case I get thirsty and need it, you know? Goddddd
20.gif
I totally do this too! In fact, I have 3 glasses sitting by my bed right now. I am really weird about having my water. I feel like if I don''t have it I will wake up in the middle of the night dying of thirst, have to get out of bed, and then not be able to fall back to sleep. It''s a really strange phobia I have.
20.gif

I have so many of these bad habits it is scary. And here I was thinkin I was pretty close to perfect, and you all had to go and burst my bubble. Can we talk about
what our husbands do instead?

Most of my songs are bad pop songs which I sing to my babies and insert their names, do you do that to Mups and Mo???

I leave EVERY cupboard door open. It''s baffling even to me. Like, I''ll go in for a glass of water and the spice cupboard door will be open. I don''t even notice I do it.

I read PS while I''m on the phone to him. It''s a terrible habit, I totally lose track of what he''s saying! He goes mad over it...understandably
3.gif

FI has one he wants me to add to the list....He hates it when I wake up on Saturday and Sunday mornings and I''m super motivated to do things he doesn''t want to do...like clean the garage....6 hours later we have a fantastically organized garage, but FI HATED me for the first 2 hours...hehehe....

Oh my goodness. We have one serious sore point in our relationship. I have a very hard time going to bed and just 'switching off' my brain. I need to talk for at least 15-20 minutes before I can even think of falling asleep. Considering it used to take me >2 hours to fall asleep ever since I was 10, a 20 minute convo for me isn't too bad. BUT, Mr. Kama falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow. And he gets incredibly annoyed when I want to talk, even if it's for 5 minutes.

So now we negotiate talking time while we're brushing our teeth, according to how tired he is. I think we normally settle on 7 minutes, and I push for another extra 2 minutes when time's up.
11.gif

In the beginning of our relationship, we'd had plenty of tiffs on this issue...still do every now and then. We rarely fight otherwise!

Where do I begin?

My hair clogs our shower drain, I don''t close cabinet doors, I don''t eat leftovers and a lot of food goes wasted. I watch Bridezillas. :) I have road rage, I steal the covers, and I get the bathroom rug too wet when I get out of the shower.

I''m a messy little animal.

I get pissy when people are eating with their mouths open or audibly chewing gum around me. He wants me to ingore it, but it''s Fing disgusting. Why can''t people have some decency and chew with their mouths closed so I don''t have to see and hear it?
OMG I am totally with you on that. My BF is the noisiest eater...his whole family eats that way...no manners at all. We took his mother out to eat and it was like she wouldn''t talk UNLESS food was in her mouth...it made me so sick I couldn''t eat another bite.

Also, I leave half empty soda cans all around the apartment.

I used to be bad about flushing the toilet. (the whole, if it's yellow let it mellow thing). This drove SO crazy, but I am much better about it now. I stilll do it at my house, though
11.gif

I hate answering questions. They make me feel harassed.
12.gif

I don't waltz around the house naked. This is a big problem for him, lol.

If we are watching a movie, I will pause it whenever an urge hits me to get up and get food/go to the bathroom/check on the dog, etc. Apparently I do this during high action moments and it makes him crazy!

When I start talking to him as he''s leaving the room to go to the other end of the apartment, probably.
3.gif

My SO has this same complaint. What probably drives him even more crazy is when I stack papers on his computer chair. I try not to, but when I''m sorting papers I often use his chair as a sorting place.

That I spend hours on pricescope while he is at work and do nothing around the house
20.gif

*will start working on this tomorrow*

ok - i umm''d and ahh''d about sharing this cause it''s a bit mushy, but i did actually call my husband when i read this thread and asked him...

"what do i do that you hate or that drives you crazy, tim? it''s a thingy on PriceScope and i wanna know."

he paused for a bit, then said...

"i hate it when you go away."

how can you not love that man???!!

BF isn''t vocal about it, but I''m sure it bothers him that almost every time before we leave the house, if even we''re a little on the late side, I need to start the dishwasher. I just hate coming home and all of the dishes being dirty! I also don''t like listening to the dishwasher.
I''m also really bad at sharing my food. I''m not sure why it bothers me so much when he wants a bite, but I hate sharing it. He does take big bites though.

God, long list.

Let's see... I PS like an addict. Musey, I'm like you, multitask-- but really only when I watch TV. Unless it's something REALLY engrossing I have severe trouble just watching TV and that drives him a little nutty. But I get absorbed in books easily.

I shut everything out when I read. EVERYTHING.

I snore.

Other than that... let's just say he is my toilet paper fairy (I forget to change the roll) and the fuel fairy (I forget that my car needs gas).

HAHAHA!!! Umm.... ditto. Espeically because on FI''s days off, I''ll come home from 8 hours of class/studying and say, "You did NOTHING today!!!"
2.gif

I fold my clean laundry and then let it sit in the laundry basket. FI *used* to put it way for me, but now he won''t
11.gif
... so it sits until he gets super-duper angry and demands that I put it away
15.gif

Ermmm... I also sing-talk a lot of stuff (put normal words to a random tune)... Which I''m sure is SUPER annoying. I do it all the time to our kitties... But FI has started to develop the same habit. I''m rubbing off on him, I guess?

Last but not least: I sometimes throw recyclables into the garbage can because I''m "too lazy to clean the black beans out of the can before putting them in the recycling bin, and i''d rather pollute the earth than spend 30 seconds to reduce my ''footprint" and rinse out a freaking can" Blah Blah Blah...
4.gif

I take forever to get ready and I''m always running late. My husband is the most punctual person I met in my life, he is always 15 minutes early. It drives him absolutely nuts when I''m running around the house like a crazy person (hair in rollers, 2 different shoes on) whenever I need to be somewhere by a certain time and when I take too long to get ready when we go somewhere together. On Saturday, he stood outside the bathroom with his guitar and sang to me that I had to hurry up
2.gif

I eat too much?
Seriously, I like to eat multiple meals (snacks) a day, ad I often get hungry for weird food at strange hours of the day, like midnight but feeling huger for pan-fried tofu with ginger sauce. DH just does not get it as his appetite is programmed to certain set of food at the set time, everyday!

Me too!! The worst for me is the movie theater, I cannot stand being near those people who can do nothing except only crunch and munch their popcorn with their mouth wide open.
BF''s dad eats quickly and smacks his lips a lot, oh it''s the hardest thing to concentrate on my food when he does that!
Also I hate people who lick their fingers, ugh it''s so icky!!!!

Yep totally do that too! I always sing in the shower and that drives D mad too as I sing so loud, but Mups and Mo love it cos as soon as they hear the water, the two of them come into the bathroom and sit there and listen! They love it when I dance and sing too-Mups gets so excited and starts jumping around. Do you dance for them too?

I refuse to houseclean while he is working part time. I believe in equal work load sharing, so if I am full time, he should be full time...part time work in the home and part out.

I have an uneven energy level, sometimes up for days, sometimes can''t wake up.

This thread is so funny. I am a multi-tasker whilst watching TV, in fact I am doing it right now! I can''t just watch tv without doing something else like computering, doing my nails etc

Painting my nails in bed drives him nuts, especially when I ask him to hold the nail polish bottles for me
9.gif

He hates that I give him "jobs'' to do or delegate tasks but otherwise nothing would get done!

Finally, he says he hates making me lemony water before I got to bed but the few times I have made it myself he yells at me "what are you doing Smo, that is my job!" and takes over!!! I must have the same lack of water phobia that some of you have mentioned but my water has to have 4 ice cubes and some lemon !
11.gif

Hee hee.

I leave the caps off of things. Contact solution, toothpaste, whatever. Drives him up the wall. He tried to cure me for about a year, and then gave up and just started putting the caps back onto things.
9.gif

I leave cabinet doors open.

And many, many more, LOL.

Reading this, I''m wondering if mine is also some type of borderline phobia. I hate thinking I''ll be thirsty and have no water. No matter where I am. Have you ever been somewhere and you''re sooooo thirsty, and then someone pulls out a brand new bottle of water and you''re like, "OMG, I NEED WATER!!!!!"

I hate that feeling. So FI needs to GET OVER IT!

I crack my fingers and toes
27.gif

I spend hours on the computer and then all of these packages start showing up in our mailbox.

Ditto.

I''m actually sitting here on my laptop watcing Criminal Minds

Procrastinate. drives him nuts.

My existence.

Luckily I''m totally kidding. I think the thing he would say is that I don''t talk enough. I''m not one to share my feelings, if something bothers me I suck it up, I won''t decide where i want to go to eat what movie I want to see, etc., I make him choose.

I would think my habit of leaving things everywhere and, consequently, losing stuff would make the man nutty, but he simply laughs, and when too much piles up (the shoes under the barstool where I sit when I come home, for example) he moves it to the appropriate place.

He''s so tolerant, and I''m so lucky.
