Mine change from neon blue to dark slate blue. The exact colors of mom and dads eyes! I always get comments asking "are those real??!!" yes. They''re real. Is your nose real?

Well, ten minutes ago I would have told you "blue," but then I was looking at pictures where my eye are big enough to see, and they range from blue to gray to green depending on the weather and what I''m wearing (usually blue-gray with green in the middle). I also, apparently, have really dark rings around the outside of my irises. Hmm.

I chose other.. mine range from blue to green to grey depending on my mood.

I chose blue, but mine change colour the same way, SDL!

Here''s a pic (is it weird that we''re attaching pics of our eyes? lol)

I WANT TO HAVE YOUR EYEBROWS! They look perfect. I''m jealous!

Here is a picture. WITH THE CURSE (red pupils) no matter what camera it is, I get red eyes.

Blah.

ETA And I added my non archy eyebrows

Lovely eyes, everyone!!

I think all you brown folks should start calling your eyes "walnut" or "cherry" instead of doodie!

Swedish bean, a good friend of mine has the red-eye problem, too... every single picture, no matter what! Her eyes are a similar blue to yours... wonder what does that?

So I came across this pic. It''s amazing how eyes can me different colors, depending on the light.

A weird gold color? At least this shot''s not as bloodshot as the last... they were both taken on my wedding day, and the photog kept having me stare out the window for the best light... my eyes are sensitive, man!

dark brown.
Fi always says I have "sad eyes"...
?

oh, and if anyone remembers - my brows are *so* much better than this now!

eta: I just went and compared - man, I can't believe I let someone do that to my brows, lol!
ok, t/jack over

Lynnie,

Your eye color is quite striking and exotic!

I voted Hazel. But like Janine said, I think hazel is just the color you pick when you don't fall into brown, blue or green. Most of the time my eyes look like a greenish brown. But when I'm upset they turn a bright green. And sometimes they look like a wheat color.

It's interesting how many mentioned their eyes have changed colors over the years because growing up I would say my eyes were just brown and not light at all, but once in my 20's they got lighter and lighter...let's see what the 30's bring
9.gif

My DH has really dark brown eyes, so far our son looks like he may have my color as they are a light brown/hazel. But some days they still look like a greyish color most babies have. But his eyes do photograph dark brown...so we'll see!

I hope this picture isn't too creepy...OMG...SUPER CREEPY...sorry

Lynnie, every time you post a picture, I run to the mirror to compare! Although your first photo looked fairly close to what I see in my own eyes, this second picture doesn''t. My eyes don''t go golden. In fact, they rarely change color at all except to go greener if I''m wearing plum eyeliner. The gold is beautiful, though!

My children all have dark brown eyes, which I generally call "chocolate."

Aw, thank you, but your eyebrows look great to me! Plus, I love the bright blue colour of your eyes in that pic you posted!

haha clio... you made me giggle with a mental picture of you running to a mirror!
I don''t ever see my eyes go that gold... in fact, when I saw that pic, it kinda freaked me out! Must be a weird combo of the light and the angle of the shot.
Ok, clio, now you have to post a shot of your eyes

Layla, thanks

You have lovely eyes, too.

so jealous of you blue eyed girls--beautiful (violet is a regular liz taylor)! And some gorgeous eyebrows to bootl! (I do my own so not so hot..)

cdt~similar to my daugheters, lovely! I''d post a close up of her eyes, but as you know these LO''s don''t cooperate

lynnie: I think your eyes might fall into the amber category..really fascinating and unusual color.

As for my litte girl, she is only one so I don''t know if that means they are likely to change. They''ve been this color since the beginning (maybe more specs of lighter shades as she got older) and I was told that at 1, they''re pretty permanent, so figured I could finally term them "hazel"--but it sounds they might still change a bit!

Strange! Mine are the same way! After a huge fight with FI - my eyes are gorgeous!

My eyes are really dark brown. I like them...they''re darker than my brother''s, mom''s, or dad''s.

My eyes have a dark green ring around the outside, then they are olive green toward the outside and brown toward the pupil. In most lights, they look more brown-ish, but when I get tan or use purple eyeliner, they look much greener.

yeah seriously ladies...I''m sorry about my pic...it''s super creepy...hehehe...

Elle - I love the color of my eyes too when i''m upset...makes me want to be upset more
2.gif

Janine - yeah, lex wouldn''t let me take close up pics either....and it''s really hard to capture his eye color in photos anyway.

Lynnie, I tried! But, I''m at work with only a bad cellphone camera. I''ll see what I can do when I get home today.

I voted hazil. I my eyes are brown near the pupils and green in the outer rim.

Lynnie, my sister has the exact same color eyes as you. I think they're such a gorgeous color. My eyes are hazel.. I wonder if I have a pic. Oh, but my brother's eyes are the coolest. They are green but change to blue-green sometimes, I wish I could trade eyes with him or my sister

I have very dark and small eyes, when I smaile (in all the pics a have
9.gif
) they become even smaller

Mine are blue. Not light blue (which I think are super gorgeous), but a grayish blue. They do seem to change with my outfit or eye makeup (from a lighter blue to a darker blue color).

I always, always have the red eye syndrome, too. It''s actually caused by having light eyes. People with lighter eyes have pupils that dilate very easily, in general. The flash causes the pupils to dilate widely and then you catch the retina in a photo. Annoying!

I voted hazel - I''ve always just thought my eyes were brown until last year, I took a pic next to DH and I''d accidentally zoomed in, so it was just our eyes. His are very brown, so in comparison, mine looked like an amber yellow. I looked at it and said "Huh, we have really different colored eyes" and DH said "Uh yeah, because yours are hazel, not brown!"

And I''m glad to see that the people who posted their hazel ojos have the exact color as me. Yay! I finally know what color my eyes really are, haha.

Okay, Lynnie, here''s a picture of mine! It was hard to get a picture that accurately reflects the color. This one is closest, though there''s still a bit too much yellow (my skin isn''t really that yellow, either!)

If I''m completely honest, I think my eyes are really hazel. I''m stubborn, though, and continue to claim that they''re green!

2009 146.jpg

Hazel, but I wear blue conacts

Mine are olive green with a small golden rim around the pupil and a darker rim of green at the outer border of the iris. Here's the best pic I have.

ETA: Whoa, IloveAsschers13 - we're eye twins! And FWIW, I absolutely love my eye color. It's really the only part of my whole body that I really truly love. And good thing, since you can't change it (except for contacts). The funny thing is that I'm not genetically supposed to have green eyes. My parents and brother all have blue-gray eyes. Somehow I got green, similar to my grandmother, so I guess it skipped a generation. But it's not supposed to be that way (blue is supposed to be recessive).

righteye-164x164.jpg

Brown! They're on the lighter side of brown with a bit of green in them, but definitely brown.

One time I was having a conversation with my friend and somehow eye color came up. He was surprised I have brown eyes because he thought almost all white people had blue eyes. I was like nope, most white people have brown eyes! He totally didn't believe me and we made a list of all of our white coworkers and friends and asked them their eye colors. For some reason most of the (white) people at my had blue eyes so he would NOT believe me that brown eyes are the most common!

I'm actually kind of surprised at how close-ish brown eyes are with blue and green in this poll! I thought brown eyes would be a lot higher. Maybe my friend was right!
3.gif

Clio, I can def see the similarities. Green on the outside, and that goldish-brown on the inside. THanks for posting the pic!! I was so curious. I don''t meet a lot of people with the greenish gold thing going on.
My liscense says ''brown''. I don''t think the guy even asked me, he just looked, and plugged it in to the computer. Oh, well. In some light, they do look brown.

I love seeing everyone''s eye colors! They fascinate me...I wish I had pics of my FSILs eyes, one has seafoam green eyes, the other has dark emerald green, and half of one eye is brown.
