What are you guys doing for your honeymoons?

Amanda.Rx''s thread got me thinking about honeymoons, so I thought I''d see what everyone is planning for theirs!

We just decided for sure the other night. We''re going to fly into Munich, rent a car and drive through Germany, Switzerland and Austria, then take the hydrofoil down the Danube to Budapest, take the train up to Prague and then back to Munich to fly home. Total time about 2 and a half weeks.

What are you guys doing?

We are going to bali (on a surfing safari no doubt) for 16 nights.

We are going to Excellence Playa Mujeres in the Mayan Riviera for 6 nights. It''s all-inclusive and adults-only and we are getting the two-level rooftop terrace suite! I think we will also take a day trip to Isla Mujeres for some more snorkeling, and new scenery. I cannot wait!

We are having a mini honeymoon to Paris for 3 nights. Sadly we are both back at work the following week so not enough time to go anywhere for longer. We will have a full holiday next year though.

DH and I went to EPM for our Honeymoon! We LOVED it!!!

The only thing I wish they could improve upon would be the beach, but DH is a pool-lover anyways so we usually got up early to get a good spot by the main pool! We stayed in the Excellence Club (Building , but did not have a rooftop terrace room. I heard that they are very nice though with the private pool! If you want extra privacy, you can email the resort and request a rooftop room in a taller building. Have fun!!!!!

We just did our honeymoon budget the other night, so we are 90% sure this is where we will be staying.

Flying to Oahu and staying at Halekulani for 10 nights, and then flying to Maui for 5 nights staying at Westin Maui Resort & Spa, I have never been overseas before so I am beyong excited!

We have also planned some activities;
- Dolphin Swim
- Atlantis Submarine Tour & Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise
- Snorkeling at Turtle Town
- Paradise Cove Luau

10 nights in Jamaica! We will have just spent 2 year living in and tooling around Europe so we miss the beach a lot! If you need Germany suggestions let me know- I live there.

laughwithme...you will have an amazing time! We love the Riviera Maya and have been there many times....enjoy!
Definitely check out Tulum!! Unbelievable!

Not sure, since we don''t know what our honeymoon budget will be just yet. We''ll either do a domestic honeymoon in the Lake District of England (stay somewhere pretty on a lake), or find an all-inclusive resort somewhere (maybe Turkey? Or Egypt?), or check out somewhere in Europe for a self-catering flat to rent. Or maybe a cruise?

But, we mostly have no idea.

We''re going to Dreams resorts in Punta Cana for 7 days and 6 nights in the beginning of August.
FSIL honeymooned there in May and raved about the place.

we haven''t booked yet but it''ll either be some island hopping in greece with a few days of sightseeing mixed in or the amalfi coast/capri in italy with maybe a few days in rome mixed in. having trouble deciding. we were also considering thailand but found out that it''ll be the rainy season in the summer when we''ll be going.

We''re going to be in Tuscany for a week for our Wedding. So sightseeing Florence, Tuscany, Siena. Then we''ll probably be taking another week to go down to Rome and end on the Amalfi coast. If we decide we can do 3 weeks we''ll probably go to Greece too. Haven''t decided that part yet.

minx, while you''re there, you should definitely check out Lucca (a wonderful little walled city about half an hour from Pisa) and the Cinque Terre (on the Italian Riviera). You are going to one of my very favorite places in the world!

I definitely second the recommendation of the Viktualienmarkt in Munich -everything is so yummy!!! If you''re not a veggie, try some Leberkaes. If you are a veggie, have Spaetzli. And all washed down with Mezzo Mix (Coke and Fanta - it''s unique to Germany!) or Augustiner Helles beer. Oh yum yum yum

And for minx, consider going to San Gimignano while you''re in that area, it''s gorgeous.

As for us, I have no idea where we''re going on honeymoon - that''s FI''s job!

4 nights 5 days at the Hyatt in Kauai. I wish we had more time to spend but 2/3 of FI''s 2 week vacation has been eaten up by travel to Ohio before/for the wedding.

We''re pretty sure we''ll be staying in one of the Excellence resorts in Mexico (cancun or playa mujeres) but not sure which one yet. The only thing we know is that we are pretty set on somewhere in Mexico. Can''t book anything yet though b/c the wedding isn''t until next July and airfaires aren''t even published yet...boo!

I''m looking forward to getting away already though!
