I'm making marinated, grilled salmon; grilled corn on the cob; Tsatziki Potato Salad (made with greek yogurt, sour, cream, dill, garlic, and shredded cucumber); Prosecco lemonade with fresh basil & watermelon for dessert.

Sounds delicious :lickout:

That does sound delicious, Matata. We are keeping it pretty simple, kid friendly and most importantly light( since it is so unbelievably hot here in AL right now). We are doing sweet tea, bacon/cheddar/ranch dip and homemade chips for a little appetizer/snack, hot dogs, hamburgers, a cucumber and tomato salad, and red velvet cupcakes for dessert.

We're keeping it simple - My husband and I are making burgers, hot dogs, baked beans and Greek pasta salad. Other people are bringing chips/veggies and dip, potato salad, and the desserts (brownies and the banana pudding with the vanilla wafers and sliced bananas in it). Oh, and there will of course be lots of beer

Veggie burgers and portobello mushrooms!

We are grilling brats, hamburgers, red peppers, onions, summer squash and zucchini. Others are bringing the salads and desserts. :))

It's our fourth wedding anniversary, and we're going to go to our favorite Italian place in the city. I can taste the lobster ravioli already . . .

Matata--My husband's favorite drink this summer has been lemonade with fresh basil. (Although, I think it started because he wanted to find a reason to use the basil he pinches back every day, but now he loves it!)

It is my SO's b-day so I am going to make roasted games hens and gravy, carrots and onions, green beans, mashed potatoes, and homemade lemon crème brûlée for dessert

at first glance i thought you were grilling "RATS"...

We are grilling rib-eyes and chicken, which will be paired with king crab legs. Sides are caprese salad with garlic, tortellini salad, and roasted asparagus/potato/white bean salad. Dessert is choc covered strawberries, limoncello panna cotta w/blueberry sauce, and fresh fruit assortment.

YUM!

Um, ok, I think I can get a last minute ticket and fly the red eye and make it there in time for dinner. Caprese salad is my fav, especially when I'm eating it in Italy.

Orange roughy (prepared I know not how at the moment), some sort of rice, a salad, and pots de creme. My husband, who despises chocolate, made pots de creme yesterday. Why? Because some guy on TV did it in a makeshift double-boiler over the pasta, and he wanted to try it because it looked so efficient. And I'm trying to lose weight. Umm....honey? We need to chat I think. Men really just don't get it sometimes. At least we gave one away to the neighbor already...

We're going to my BIL's house and we'll have the usual cookout with hot dogs, hamburgers, various sides, drinks, and some sort of dessert.

DH is going to grill some Mahi-mahi and hamburgers. I'm making an Antipasto salad platter and Caprese salad with balsamic reduction.
Our family loves sweets and there are always tons of sweet treats :((

Sadly, I'm working. The good news is that we are having a potluck with turkey dogs, hot dogs, veggies and dip, chips, pasta salad and chocolate covered strawberries...all in all, its a good day and I only have an hour to go! :appl:

We made roasted broccoli, burgers, "Crack Potatoes" (from Pinterest...so yummy) and a fruit salad. Whole Foods made the cupcakes for dessert. :naughty:
