the ones you put on your autoglass from the inside, but are meant to be viewed from the outside, called? I want a tribal lizard and a cat one for my (!!!!) NEW CAR. I just want something that sticks inside my car, and is easily removable. I just don''t know what they are called.

My husband surprised me with a 2010 Mazda 3 Grand Touring in metallic grey with black leather interior, and it''s lovely and perfect. So I want to personalize it a little.

I''ve got these on order:

For front plate:

For rear plate:

ask your hubby if he''ll get me a new car too haha

YAY how exciting and even the color you wanted, super sweet hubby!! You totally deserve a wonderful new car, Congrats!!!

Thank you Isabel. I was torn between practical and luxury... and this car has a little of both. Great bang for buck, good gas effeciency, compact sedan and the Grand Touring trim has all the little 'toys' I wanted: Leather, Bluetooth, seat warmers, dual climate control. Plus it's safe, and it's got traction control and stability. Overall, it was a winner. Plus it's the color I wanted and best of all it's FUN to drive. It's definitely got zoom zoom. So, I'm happy. I'll get my Lexus next time. It just wasn't responsible to do it now.

Is it just me, or does that car look incredibly happy? The front grill (is that the term?) looks like a mouth WIDE open in a smile. Like this, minus the teeth ->

Congrats on the new ride! I really like it. Super sweet of your husband!

Not just you. It's a love it or hate it. It's less noticable in person-- 2 D brings it out more than 3 D. But yes, the car is smiling. I think it looks like it's having fun as it is zooming along.

Gypsy - are you sure you don't want window Decal or vinyl window decal? especially on tinted window, it would be a little hard to see from the outside (i've done it with one my cars) and I couldn't see very well and extremely hard to take off.
Those decals you can have them on the outside it stays on pretty well. I bought a few from an ebay seller that can make whatever you want

Zoom zoom! Congrats on the new car, Gypsy. I have a Mazda 3 hatchback and I love it! I REALLY like the 2010 redesign, too, was drooling over them in the dealership last time I went for service.

I love it! I thought the same thing- so happy to be driving. I see faces on lots of different cars, though (after seeing this photo of a ''surprised'' car), so I''m sure it''s less noticeable to, well, normal people.

D&T... thank you. I don''t know. I don''t want anything permanent and I thought most decals were permanent. If there is a nice way to get a small design on the car that is completely removable I''m happy to do it. I''d be happy with just a cute little lizard.

Selkie, it''s a great car for my needs. I thought about hte hatchback but John will be driving this occassionally and neither of us could see him pulling that off! This is already a stretch. The 2010 design is lovely. I love in the inside of the car the best. It''s a very driver focused car and so comfortable. It''s nicer than the interior of my Volvo s40 (which was my favorite of all my cars, except for dependability).

I''m happy with it. It feels like "me".

HAHAHA. Nope read the reviews of the car, every one says something about the grin on this one. You are not alone. Perhaps with some cars it is less noticable, but this one is defintely there.

Gypsy- those window vinyl decal are not permanent (we used to have all of our windows with business decals). they are meant to be removable when you are ready, it just takes some elbow grease to remove them and much easier when done on the outside as to not affect your defroster (if you place them on the inside).

ETA: I just saw that you already found some cute Decals already

Okay, I'll look into those. I'm really partial to the goofy gecko. I think he's the winner. Thanks DT

Thanks everyone. Skippy, I know, he got it all right. He's got major points for this one.

That''s one sharp ride, Gypsy!

Wow those pictures of your car are awesome! It looks so cool!! Lucky!

Congrats on the new car. I like your license frames.

Try window decal, window graphics, vehicle graphics, etc.

Thank you so much everyone... I am really happy with the car. I am not sure about the decals though, now that I think about it. I bought the lizard, but we''ll see if I put it up. At least now I know what they are though.

Cling ons...wouldn''t be caught dead wtih without my "Chargers" clingon in the rear window. Because my car is the ever popular sivlver Honda Accord, it''s the one thing I use to identify my car between the four other exact vehicles on my work parking lot. Don''t you hate it when you walk up to a car and realize as you walk to the driver''s door that it isn''t your car? So embarrassing !
