Week 18 - Share Photos: Favorite Tradition Moment Captured

thanks to Mrs. H for last week''s thread! don''t forget to post your favorite groomsmen photos there!

this week please share your favorite photo of a tradition you honored on your wedding day. some examples are lighting of unity candles, tossing of the bouquet, the garter removal, etc. it doesn''t have to be an activity. it can also be the use of a certain item on your wedding that has been passed down through the generations. remember to only share ONE photo per weekly thread.

I''m the youngest and a total daddy''s girl so it was emotional for a lot of people there who knew our relationship and us as well

During my father''s speech. You can see him blurry in the background. He is a great speech writer and I really enjoyed that part of the reception. I also love how happy DH looks here.

great traditions, everyone! i''ve had a hard time with this. so i decided on this: my mom and i have had this thing where she gives me a kiss on the cheek and we get a picture at different important events. we have one from most of my high school dances, my college graduation, etc. so, here''s ours from the wedding.

I can''t just pick one but I did love the cutting of the cake because we couldn''t stop laughing but managed to just for the photo...cake cutting done to the beatles song when I''m 64

We made our own tradition....instead of a unity candle, we decided to do a "unity didgideroo" of sorts. My husband loves to play and is very good at it, I am far less good at it but I also play a bit (we also make them together). I like it as it reflects the personality and non-traditional atmosphere of our wedding quite well
