Over the weekend, D told me that he''d like to get me a piece of jewelry as a wedding gift. He asked what I''d like, and I mentioned either a pearl bracelet or some new diamond stud earrings (WF, martini setting!). I would be THRILLED with either, and now I''m so excited thinking about it
My birthday is coming up next week, and he said he''d like to combine birthday and wedding gifts so that he can give me a nice piece of jewelry at the wedding in just under 4 months. Of course, I said that''s fine!
If he gets me a pearl bracelet, I would like to wear it for the wedding day. So I wonder whether I should hold off on purchasing a bracelet to go with the dress? If I bought something, it wouldn''t be anything particularly nice, just something to coordinate with my brooch and earrings. Hmm. Maybe I can ask my mom if I can borrow her pearl bracelet, that way if he gets me one I won''t have spent money on another one.
I have a feeling he might go with the earring idea, though, which would be awesome! I have diamond studs that my parents bought me when I turned 18. They are sentimental to me, set in yellow gold and 1/2 tcw. I wear them at least once a week. But another pair would sure be nice ...!
