Ok, so i recently asked two of my friends to be maid of honor and a bridesmaid. Well I also wanted my one friend, T that broke up with a guy from our group of friends about a year ago to be in it too. I just realized that even though they were broken up she was still a good friend of mine that has been with me since the beginning of B and I. So just recently i started to realize that my MOH hasnt always been the best friend that i have been to her over the years. We have a blast together but I feel as though if I was to need her that she would pick a guy over me. And I always have to initiate the us hanging out.
So she has started dating this guy that has a daughter that is her age plus 3 other kids..and he might possibly be in prison cuz she hasnt heard from him in a few days. Pretty much I told her to be careful because he is 14 years older than she is and I have seen so many different red flags that she hasnt seen. (He gives her money...tells her he loves her after like 1 month..i think to try and get her to sleep with him) She freaked out and said that she can take care of herself etc...not how she should feel! she should be happy that i as a friend is looking out for her and cares for her) So i am just backing off and letting her make her own mistakes..hoping that he doesnt cause physical harm to her.
Anyways...I have realized that she is not really there for me and is very immature in the sense of seeing things that arent good for her. And when i threaten our friendship she takes it as a joke..cuz of her immaturity to life! I dont want a MOH that is like that...So i told them all that there will be no titles as in MOH or bridesmaid because i do feel that people just throw it around as a title and not the meaning of it. My MOH especially.. I am sure that she will get mad at the fact that she is no longer my MOH cuz i do feel it is just a title to her.
They are still special to me and if they get all mad i will know it was just a title to them. which my MOH hasnt responded yet. i am sure she is mad. My other bridesmaid did and said that she agrees and that she is just happy to share my day with me. Aww...
So now I need a title for all three of them that is not bridesmaid or maid of honor because only the one friend T is really my best friend and she woudve been my MOH if i hadnt asked the other one to be. But i dont want to switch who is the MOH cuz that would be not right so they are all going to be equal. I need titles for them other than bridesmaids too. I am just upset and tired of me turning out to be the better friend in the friendship... I hope you all can help me think of some other titles for them and maybe even can relate to my situation...
