Wedding Wedding Party Gifts

When did you or will you be presenting your wedding party with their gifts? Did you do it at the rehearsal dinner or the day of the wedding? Did you give them as a group or to each person in private?

i gave them out at the rehearsal dinner. all in public.
but, all the girls' gifts were the same. all the guys gifts the same. parent's gifts the same.

eta: they were for them to wear the next day for the wedding.

We handed ours out at the rehearsal dinner, but privately...worked out well for us!

We did ours at the RD in front of everyone. DH and I said something special about each one and how we know them (to fill everyone else in). Worked well for us.

I wanted to give mine out during the rehearsal dinner, but my FI doesn''t like that idea! He thinks it should be more special and intimate. I''m thinking of doing it while we''re getting ready the next day.
