Hey!
So I went dress shopping today...kind of early since I''m not planning on getting married until October 2009. But my mom was in town and I didn''t know when she''d come down to Texas again w/in the next 6 months so I wanted to take this opportunity to go with her. Anyhoo...I have been looking at the Enzoani line...especially the Blue by Enzoani...and I love them! Today I finally got to try on their dresses and they were so beautiful! Okay...the problem I have is that my fiance and I are probably going to go with a more contemporary hotel setting for our ceremony/reception, and I didn''t know if these dresses would really match that setting.
These were my two favorites:
Ankara
Accra
I feel like these dresses would be more for a romantic/vintage type of wedding, etc.
The other thing is that I love the Melissa Sweet Dora dress, but it''s way out of my price range. I''m looking to spend around $1000-$1500. But I think the Dora with it''s Swiss dots and simple lines would be great in a contemporary setting.
So my question is...
1) Would the Enzoani dresses look funky in a contemporary setting?
2) Do you guys know of any other dresses with the Swiss dot pattern?
3) Any dresses with a fit-to-flare style?
4) What kind of dresses do you guys think go well with a contemporary setting?
Thanks in advance for any advice, you girls are great!
