Well you can't say Trump has changed much over the years. We all know who he is. He certainly showed everyone his true colors during his campagn and he still won. My hope is the Democrats are working on finding a great candidate for the next election.

1993.

And Chris Hayes.

Two extremes.

Some of you are starting to get desperate if you think this is even relevant.

Oh it's relevant. Really shows how incredibly foolish 65,000,000 people were.

Oh, my bad! So once a person is elected POTUS, we should just forget every bit of the past and consider it blank slate time? Riiiiiight.

Look, I don't know who Chris Hayes is/was and I don't care. I listened to Trump's own words and found them bothersome, to say the very least. How is posting this video here me being desperate? Desperate for what? Desperate to keep trying to drive the point home to "some of you" that this guy is legitimately the anti-Christ? Ok, then you're right. I'm desperate.

Jesus Christ: gave stuff to the poor; turned other cheek.
Donald Trump: doesn't believe in handouts; instigates conflict and baits other countries as if WW3 sounds like fun.

Chris Hayes is on MSNBC. If he leaned anymore to the left, he would tip over.

And all I will say is freaking 1993.

As far as driving a point home, when I look at the Tweet thread and see things being brought up from 24 years ago, all it does is make me question your motives.

Like I said on the other thread, not one site, - right, left, in the middle questioned Trump hosting the Japanese President at his home. So now I question the people here coming up with this non-issue nonsense.

Try googling

Trump ethical concerns Japanese president Mara lago

And see how many articles pop up.

This is a pic of a headline from the Associated Press. Are you familiar with the AP? I got it on YAHOO. Do you know how many hours it takes for breaking news to get to yahoo?!? This story about the ethical concerns is ALL OVER THE INTERNET.

Ok your first line was funny.

My motive was this: a friend posted this video today on Facebook and I watched it, and I was pretty horrified. I knew what year it was filmed. i have also posted videos here of DJT's interviews in the 1980s that were NOT him running off at the mouth about stupid shit. Pardon me for thinking that I could post this here. Are there rules now about how far back we can go in widdle Twumpie's past?

Some of us don't think these are non-issues. Some of us are able to see the forest, not just the trees, and feel like we are watching a very tragic situation play out while 65 million others are like, whatevs, give bro a chance! Why do you feel like you have to come to his defense constantly? It isn't personal, Ruby. I mean you've told us a thousand times now you didn't vote for him, so...

Some people will remain willingly in denial. Sad for them, but not worth the rest of us arguing or trying to use logic to talk them out of it. If anyone doesn't see Trump's current and past behavior as problematic, they haven't been paying attention.

Last month, before he was sworn in, Trump announced that he would donate to the U.S. Treasury profits from foreign government spending at his hotels.

I know and you're absolutely right. Sometimes I just can't take the madness anymore and have to say something, despite it being no more effective than hitting my head against a wall.

So, those who do not agree with you are in denial?

Have you ever looked at it from the other point of view?

You can rant and rave and repost all the Tweets you want.

And judging by the reaction, my posts over there are ignored.

Also my post here explaining how he will take care of the conflict of interest.

You do not want to discuss, you just want to rant.

Lol yup, I do it too! The madness is indeed maddening! Those of us who can see through this administration's BS have to stick together!

I hear that. Y'all are the light in the dark right now, as far as I'm concerned!

I'm only going to say this once.

I generally do not engage you because I know it will not be productive for either of us. It is not to punish you, or to hurt your feelings, or to be mean. It is to avoid a meaningless waste of my time (and likely yours, though I can't attest to that).

I figured that out the other day when the only post you responded to was when I dissed Trump.

Thankfully, for me it is not either black or white.

That sounds nice, but we'll wait to see if that really happens. He also said he would divest his business interests to avoid conflict of interest, but to date, he has not produced any documents to show he has done this nor have the necessary documents been found where they should be in the public records. Trump and a number of members of his administration have already proven themselves to be untrustworthy and think the public will be satisfied with objectively verifiable untrue "alternative facts".

His comment was ignorant, no doubt. His point - however - about taxes on for-profit casinos, seemed valid. And he's not the only person caught on tape over the years, but I guess her convenient 'coming around' (aka flip flopping) was what garnered her so much support.

We have been, believe me. And what we see about America and Americans and what they will swallow is frightening.
