These are the colors we like. However these pictures don''t do the blue justice...If any of you have seen the colors at David''s Bridal, we picked a new color called Juniper. It''s actually darker than these blues. If you have seen it then you know what I''m talking about. We decided on the bronzey brown color for the guys since it is an autumn wedding and thought the two colors would go nicely together. Tell me what you think, my feelings won''t be hurt :)

I really like the combination of blue and brown. My friend''s wedding just over a week ago was like that, but with more of an aqua blue than yours. The bouquets were burnt orange cockscomb and sprigs of wheat. These sound like great fall wedding colors!

Ooooh, I like that a lot. In fact, I may steal that bronzy brown color for my groom!!

Smurfy, it kind of reminds me of this mood board. I think your blue may be a bit deeper, but its still a nice mock up!

I love the colour blue on the right. I love blue, it''s my favorite colour. My two BMs have beautiful blue eyes and both look great in blue so it makes sense for us to use blue for our dresses. I am thinking a slate, medium colour blue, OMG I am so bad at describing things!!! When I have pics, I will post my blues too!

Nice choices - you sure don''t waste time do you

Oh I''m so glad you guys like it, I was so worried I picked the worst colors in the world haha
I picked the blue out and I *reluctantly lol* let FI pick the second color but it looks like he did a great job :) We picked them so early because the girls are picking their own dresses out and I knew how excited they were to start looking :) I did warn them not to buy one until like 4-5 months before the wedding so the altering wouldn''t be messed up :)

Here this picture actually shows the color a little better. Also I think one of the girls will end up getting this dress style. It still is a much deeper blue than this but that''s poor image quality for ya

Ill post the first one below so you can compare how different these colors are (even though they supposedly are the same color) on the website..stupid davids bridal. The only way I can think of to describe it is as a navy/royal blue that is semi shiny. Does that make sense? lol

Okay, here''s my one problem...

I love color (its like my job to love color)...and blue with brown is soooo pretty.

When you''re using brown and blue...the effect is super dynamic (this is actually the color scheme in my master bedroom and masterbath and powder room)...but you want to make sure you''re using either warm or cool tones.

In the picture, you have a very cool blue and very warm brown.

If you want to do cool tones (that beautiful blue you selected) use more of an espresso brown or chocolate...less copper.

If you want to do warm tones (that copperish brown) use more of a deep aqua...a blue that you almost see the yellow in without "seeing it" (if that makes sense)

As it turns out, we need to change our blue color because they are discontinuing 2 of the 4 dresses the color we liked before are in
uggggggggggggggggh
maybe i can convince FI to use the serene color now :)

I am kinda glad. I just hate navy, black and brown together. To my eye it all clashes. Plus they are all so dark. I would say pick two with different tones for more contrast. I like brown with a *pale* color (blue, pink, green all work well).

My entire life is blue and brown (interior of my entire house

, wedding colours, etc.) and I have to say I totally agree with Italia''s assessment of the colours. The bronzey copper really won''t work with the darker blue.

I would check out some chocolates, and some blues that are a bit less dark. More aqua and less navy.

I love the colour scheme, and since blue was such a difficult colour for my sister, she ended up choosing to wear a brown bridesmaid dress for my wedding, and we pulled the blue out in the bouquets and other flowers.

Ditto to LTP, Italia and Tacori.

My whole master bedroom/bathroom is brown and blue and I love that color scheme! If you are looking at David''s Bridal, I agree with some of the other comments that a deeper/darker brown would be more complimentary.

There are a few different browns on their website that I think could work.....Truffle (pictured below), Chocolate, and Mocha.

Check them out!

Here is a picture of their Pool blue, which may be lighter than what you originally wanted, but I think it really would pop next to the brown!
