Wedding We picked a date and a place!!!

After much stress on my part (due to the fact that I was on vaca for the week after the proposal and couldn''t plan, and thought everywhere would be booked!) FI and I picked a date, church and reception place!!! We didn''t sign the contract yet but I am positive that is where we will be going. If any of you are from the Chicago area (HAVEN) you will know where this is...

We are getting married at a little church in Long Grove and our reception is at a hotel Deerfield!!! oh and the date is JULY 11!!! Less than one year to go!!!!

The date is July 11th 2009, now I just have to get through my entire family telling me how to negotiate prices and how not to pay full price

Even though your family may be extra annoying, they have a point. As I recently learned after taking a negotiation class, everything is negotiable. Most people don''t even think to ask! The worst they can ever say is "no."
