Congratulations!!! I'm very happy for you.

We're entering that not-so-fun phase ourselves. I got a new job and I start in 2 weeks. The job requires that we relocate because the commute would be physically impossible. We have an offer in on a house and it was accepted. Our current house has been on the market for 24 days and has had 3 viewings. One seemed particularly interested and then ... she never called the realtor back. I'm sure we'll move and we'll be stuck with 2 sets of bills and 2 mortgages. I just hope and pray that it won't be for too long of a period.

If anyone can spare any first-house-selling dust, I'd be most appreciative.

Okay, so we have a hint that it's a 3 stone.. and the suite wasn't necessarily made to match each other… can I ask if the center of the 3 stone is a cushion, perhaps? There was a suite of 3 I was watching for a few days, wishing I could sell a kidney for.. on a.. popular site of sorts for people to stalk bling over. I've been waiting to see if it went to a well loving PS adoptive parent. *crosses finger you adopted it*

Nope, mine are plain old OECs, though I will say that Ari received them and when he heard what I'd paid, he asked me if there was a swat team outside of my house, waiting to arrest me for stealing. So, I did pretty well. I sent him my earrings too (pic below) because I'm just not wearing them, to see if the 5.5 mm oec's in the earrings were a better match for the larger stone that I sent for the 3 stone. He felt that they weren't as good of a match, so we are going with the smaller side stones (4.8 and 5.0mm respectively) that I originally sent him. I sent the earrings with the intention of having Ari use the 16 small stones in the shank/gallery of the 3 stone, but he suggested not destroying the earrings and instead setting them with a colored stone, so he's working on that for me. I'll probably try to sell the earrings once they have a colored stone in them, since I am in love with my IDJ jackets. Someone will get a good deal, as I paid $1500 for the setting alone and I'll probably ask about $1K for the whole thing, including the new colored stones. Anything to help pay for the setting I am hoping to go with.

Anyway, that was a LONG answer to a simple question. Now I'm super curious as to what stones you are referring to????

Your project sounds totally divine, and I can't wait to see your big reveal! I have lately taken into lusting after 3 and 5 stones so another Yenny+Ari creation is sure to add to my (bling)**** stash! (HEHE!!) I went into SS actually, and everything they touch is golden!

I'm confused.. so Ari won't be using the center stones of those earrings you posted, but you're still going to put CS's in them to sell? What about the center stones? To wear with your IDJ jackets? Have you thought about what CS you'd put in them? Why not offer them for sale now on DB, without the center stones, so that the buyer can choose whatever colored stone or center stone they'd like? They're lovely, and I'm sure someone would loveeee to swoop in on a good deal, too!!

The suite I was referring to was on our favorite stalk-the-prey-and-pounce website for bidding.. and had a ~1.9 wonky shaped antique cushion that would have looked AMAZING in a bezel.. for a steal of a price.. and get this! The seller threw in 2 extra OMC sidestones! The price was peanuts.. but I just don't have the free funds! I'm really wishing they show up on PS somewhere..

but anyway! I really can't wait to see what you're making!!! You got me excited already

Ari is taking the 5.5mm center stones out of the earrings and putting them in a simple stud setting so that I can wear them with my IDJ jackets. If they had worked well with the 7.5mm center stone I sent him, Ari was going to take the 5.0mm stones that were part of the 3 I bought for the ring and set them in studs for earrings to go with my IDJ jackets. I know it's confusing.

I was planning on having him put CS's in the clover earrings and then trying to sell them. Perhaps your suggestion makes better sense though. Hmmm....

Maybe if we're lucky the stones you were lusting after will show up here in a gorgeous setting and they will become part of the PS family!!
