The Foreign owner''s Balinese ex-husband just walked in one day while she was on vacation, took over and started selling the place off piece by piece!

I was thinking it could be kinda cool for Haven''s Haven (if she was open to doing something destination style).

Or anyone who wanted to start a destination wedding business.

I considered buying a rental villa type thing when we were there last -- but it was just too much work and trouble. Not cheap either, something like $250,000 USD. The rental occupancy is something like 90% though and you''d make your money back within the first 10 years, not counting any capital growth. Like I said, too much work though -- if I buy a rental property, it will be in the States where I know a bit more about finance/investment.

Can''t believe the guy is selling off her property though! I know foreigners aren''t allowed to "own" but thought there''d be some sort of rules in place to protect their interests!
