Wedding Waiting on photos is making me crazy

DH and I got married 9/13, left for our honeymoon the 17th, and got back from Maui on the 30th. Our photographer, Dionne, said she was pretty sure she''d have the teasers up on her blog by the time we got home. Looking at past weddings she''s posted, that seemed about right, since her average blog turnaround seems to be 2-3 weeks. I know it''s only been 3.5, which really isn''t THAT far off, but I''m going absolutely nuts waiting on some tiny peek of our pro pics! For the most part I''m just having a hard time finding wedding closure. I can''t seem to move on and get back to normal life until everything wedding related is tied up, and the photos are a HUGE loose end. Here and there irrational thoughts like "maybe she just can''t find enough good ones" start creeping in, which just make me crazier. I thought it was just me, but DH said the exact same thing earlier w/o me ever voicing anything.

Has anyone else had this problem? Difficulty focusing and getting back to work after the wedding, especially while waiting on all the loose ends to take care of themselves? I feel so unbalanced or something.

i actually checked dionne''s blog the other day to see if she had your photos up! (is that creepy? haha). i know the feeling though - our photographer said the pictures would be ready in 2-3 weeks with the teasers up in a week. the teasers took two weeks and it''s now been three and i want to see the rest of the pictures!!! gah!

i hope they come up soon!!!

Haha, not creepy. I''m flattered, actually! I don''t even want to THINK about how long it''ll take for the rest of the photos after we get the teasers. Many many more weeks, I think, if not months.

Haha, not creepy. I''m flattered, actually! I don''t even want to THINK about how long it''ll take for the rest of the photos after we get the teasers. Many many more weeks, I think, if not months.

I too have been checking Dionne''s blog for your photos! Congrats again and I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon! I''m sure she is just busy and will have them up soon. Don''t worry, I''m sure they are gorgeous!

Oh, I''m right there with you! When we booked our photographer, she said 2 weeks to delivery of photos...but she got sick in August and I think she got a little bit behind. I emailed her a week ago and she said 3 weeks...which would be this Saturday.

So I''m hopeful but trying not to get my hopes up too much!
