I dunno!!!

Ugh I HATE THEM!

I don''t know what I am venting about, but I believe that venting in any form is one way of avoiding ulcers.

Everyone repeat:

Ulcers = bad.

Not bad = venting.

Therefore, ulcers = venting.

Wait, what??? I think I need to take more logic classes!

Says the person we are venting about...

Yeah brown eyes, that is some seriously flawed logic.

This is the breakdown:

Ulcers are bad...venting prevents ulcers which is good!

I will say this. People who vent about stuff that isn''t all that important in the grand scheme of things do urk me. Like HELLO we are in hard times here.... So if someone comes on with a self pitty party and builds it up t be some huge problem and you read on to find out it''s not that significant... Ok yeah that p***** me off.

On a more positive note:

I love the PS dust threads, and love when the PS dust works. That always puts a big smile on my face.

Vent topic:

Why do pink diamonds have to be so expensive? Why can''t I have a 5 carat pear-shaped vivid purplish-pink diamond ring from Argyle?
14.gif

Discuss....

I hear you on that one Kaleigh, but suppose that someone inherently knows it''s ridiculous in the grand scheme, and let''s face it, most of our venting is pathetic in a "Grand, grand, scheme of things"...but they come on here in order to vent so they get a reality check. Sometimes, that is what a venter needs. To have people gently, or forcibly if they insist, to help them with the slap they really know they need, but just need their PS homeys to reinforce. Then it isn''t irksome for me...it''s time for me to practice my "diplomatic skills". Well, okay, I don''t have very well exercised diplomatic skills...but I am willing to work at it...a little bit.

You''re welcome to it if I can have the less vivid pink without purple

Naturally neither of us want to spend more than maybe $5K, right? Sounds fair to me

BIG DITTO from the venter! (Although I would argue that I was just making a proposal/suggestion and not venting! You may have noticed my lack of an angry face next to the thread!) That is exactly how I feel!

And I also love it when the PS dust works. I haven't had to ask for any yet but if the time comes I will!

Yup, hear ya too. Sadly most of the time they don''t want to hear that either.... They take their ball and leave the proverbial playground.. Ugghh. I have been here too long.....

I with you both. I''m the "Whatcha gonna do about it then" type of person. I''m all about support and listening so the person can vent and let things out. But if it becomes a recurring issue with no resolution, then it''s just drama. And I have no patience for drama. Those who are truly seeking for advice will be open to all types of feedback, not just pats on the back. Those who are simply seeking attention (who refuse to see their responsibility in the situation) are most likely to get offended and scamper off.

Sometimes people just make things more complicated than they really are.

I dunno, this is a jewellery forum... if this aint the place to talk about ''fluff'' of all variety - including fluffy of the venting variety - where can you vent?
Do we all have to go scream under a train line or somethin''?
Praps I just haven''t been here long enough...

Ya, that''s the problem. They cost 500k while we only want to spend 5k. I change my mind. I actually want a vivid pad colored one.

Why can''t I have a 5 carat pear-shaped pad colored diamond ring from Argyle?

ARgyle diamonds are probly expensive to help pay the high costs of the *cough* lazy Aussie worker (and other high costs of Australian business)!
