We''re planning a trip to Vegas in October and I''m hoping all you experts can help me out. I''ve never been and dh hasn''t been for at least 10 years so my questions are:

Is October a good time to go? Is it warm? We want to be able to use the pool but we don''t want 45 degree heat.

If you had to chose between Treasure Island and Wynn, which would you pick? I can do either for the same price and am not sure which to chose. Dh liked TI the last time he went but that was years ago. We want something nice and fun.

Thanks PSers!

October is like 70''s 80''s.
I prefer the Wynn in that it is new and nice. TI is fun for family w/ the show, it is a bit north... but not a bad location!

Oct. is a great month to visit weather wise. I would definitely choose Wynn over T.I. if they are the same price.

The Wynn for sure. October is okay weather wise. Beautiful for walking the strip comfortably but not exactly pool weather. We went in the last week of October and it was just to cold.

Most Las Vegans would rate October as one of the best pool months & weather in general.

I''ve been to TI and while it''s not a bad hotel, the Wynn is by far a better choice, much more luxurious

Thanks so much- Wynn it is, then!

I'm hoping October will be warm enough for us- we're Canadian so our idea of pool weather may not be the same as everyone elses!

ETA- we're looking at mid October if that makes any difference weather wise.

Early October and late September are the best time of year to go to Vegas, and I lived there for 25 years.

I would suggest the Wynn, especially if you like jewelry. Graff, Cartier, and pretty much every other high end jeweler reside in the attached mall.

Wynn - rooms are a lot newer. You can always walk over and visit TI. I''m visiting LV in August, and I think we''re going to try staying at the Wynn.
