Has anyone had a varicose vein procedure? Anyone you know of who has had this done? If so how did it go?
I have had them for a long time, behind my knees, but they just recently started to bother me and are hurting...I want to have something done to them (zapped or whatever they do) before they get really bad...my mom has awful veins and I sure don't want them to get like hers are...but I am kind of concerned about having this done, fear of the unknown....my insurance covers it, but I don't know what 'type' of doctor performs this either... I still need to do a search for a doctor in my network so I can have a consult.
Any suggestions or experiences are appreciated!
