So I guess that we shouldn''t be all that surprised by this, but the paper which my fiance Valerie turned in for her micro economics class on DeBeers and the Diamond Trading Company (DTC) got a perfect score, 200 out of 200! The paper was rated 1 of 3 with a perfect content rating by the instructor who happens to be a critical fan of the DeBeers operating concept, but who had been driving Valerie nuts due to his reference of data from outdated sources - I did finally manage to convince her to stop correcting the poor guy during class!
Anyway, paper turned in last week, returned today with perfect score and the comment "where the heck did you get this information?!?!" and "how did you have access to this type of information?!?!" along with "Wow!" then came the explanation of being engaged to "a diamond guy" and the realization of "ah, updated info on DeBeers!"
Final score in Micro Economics = 104% and well, I just felt like bragging about it.
