Vacation in Norway, any tips?

My hubby and I will be going to Norway for a week this summer, and since PS-ers are a well-traveled bunch, I wonder if anyone has been! We'll be based in Oslo, and hubby will actually be working for part of the time, so I'd especially appreciate ideas for things I can do by myself while he's busy. I know there are lots of museums in Oslo, though I'm not sure which are the most interesting. To tell the truth, I'm much more interested in scenery...fjords, waterfalls, all that. I really hope to take the train from Oslo toward Bergen but I don't know if we'll have time to go all the way so we might go to Flam and take the tourist route there, then back. Otherwise, I really have no idea what to do, so any suggestions are more than welcome!
