I went to a friend's birthday party last night. Didn't really have that much to drink. Started drinking at 9, stopped a little after midnight and was completely fine to drive home at 3am. Despite not going over board, I feel horrible! I don't get it. When I was underage and partied I rarely got hangovers. Now that I am in my 20's it seems like anything more than 2-3 cocktails and I feel like crap the next day!
I don't really get hangover headaches, but I often have a rapid pulse, dizziness and queasy/sour stomach the entire day afterwards. I am trying to figure out if it's maybe *what* I drink that is to blame. I always stick to vodka but usually mix it with something sweet (last night I had vodka mixed with club soda and juice). White wine doesn't make me feel as bad but I don't always feel like drinking wine.
I wish I was one of those people that could get a buzz off of 2 drinks and just call it quits, but unfortunately I have a high tolerance, and my stomach doesn't.
Advice/thoughts? Anyone have a drink that they like that's easy on the stomach?
Also, What are your tricks for the next day when you feel queasy and everything sounds gross?
