I've been using this for quite a while in a non jewelry related industry. It's a handy little add-on/extension for the Chrome and Firefox browsers. It's called TinEye.
When you have an image of something and want to find the source(s) of the image, all you have to do is save the image to your desktop and upload it - OR - pop in a URL (link from your address bar) where you found the image.
This could help in locating origins of specific settings or for other "track it down" purposes
