UPS Delivery Delays due to SNOW!

So my UPS package was supposed to be delivered yesterday, however they are telling me they don't know when I will be receiving my package due to "adverse weather conditions"

I'm in SoCal and my package was last checked in at Vernon, CA. How adverse can the weather be in Vernon, CA?

Anyone else having difficulties with their deliveries due to weather conditions?

I sent a bunch of USPS packages on monday priority mail. NORMALLY they would get to their destination by Wednesday. I've been seen thursday/ friday deliveries for a state away from me. It's really ticking me off

oooOOOooo.. I feel your pain!!! I was supposed to receive a package on 2/2/11 and on 2/3/11 and 2/4/11 - was on the truck to be delivered to me and twice, it didn't reach my home - all due to bad weather. I am like "C'MON!!!! It's sunny here now!!!"
We'll see if on Monday it will make it into the truck then to my home...

I paid for express shipping. A supervisor told me that they have no control over the weather so I am SOL for the lost $$$ on the express shipment. The think that irked me, is that they didn't even made an effort to deliver my package today Saturday. I hate UPS.

No wonder why their Logo color is Poop brown and pi$$ yellow!!!

haha, their logo colors are disgusting, can't argue there.

Yeah, I called in and they were so unhelpful and did not care that I had paid extra for express. I was told Saturday they will not be delivering and she would be shocked if I even received my package on Monday, due to "weather".
All she could say is, just keep track online. UGH And my item needs a signature, so I would like to know when to be home. I scheduled a Friday delivery because I KNEW I'd be home. What annoyed me is that the rep argued with me that my item isn't really in Vernon CA, when my tracking confirmed that it was.

I really hope you get your items on Monday. UPS is on my cr*p list right now!
