I''m sorry I haven''t updated much lately. I''m at that point where I''m in shock at how close the day is and my brain is going a mile a minute. I have a few little things to do and I''m not sure what things will be like the day before and the day of. I want to be as organzied as possible and not feel like I''m running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I need to make a list of what to bring on the day....that will help a lot. I pick up my dress today after work and I can''t wait to see the final look.

FI has made a couple of changes to the wedding last minute. Originally, we weren''t doing the bouquet and garter toss or the parents'' dances. He wants to do both now and I''m not complaining. He wants to experience all of these things and his mom hasn''t had the chance to participate in a parent dance with her oldest child. I really wanted a simple reception with none of the usual stuff, but I understand him wanting it all.

FI wanted to wait until the last minute to get him a suit (wanted to lose a few lbs). We may go tonight or tomorrow night.

I''m so excited about our photographers. They are getting more and mroe weddings under their belt and you would never know by their portfolio that they''re rookies. www.bendthelight.com

We aren''t having a formal rehearsal since we don''t have a wedding party and that makes me a little nervous. I want that part to be perfect. The timing with the music and everything. I have 2 sets of stairs to walk down, so I hope that goes well!!! Also, I hope the rain stays far far away! If it rains, it will not be the end of the world. I won''t let that upset me.

I can''t even think of what else to update on. My bachelorette party is this weekend and I''m looking forward to that. FI will be gone 3 nights for his though. That''s a little too long for my taste!

I''m kind of stressed at work. I have a lot to get done before leaving for a week and a half. If I don''t get these things done, I will be extremely stresses when I get back. My focus is just not there right now with all the wedding and honeymoon excitement.

I totally understand being stressed! Wow, your FI kind of threw a bit of a kink into things decided last minute to do all the extra traditional stuff. I understand why, but eeee!

Oh well, at least he didn''t decide this the day of. Or regret it later that would have been bad. And he needs a suit!!

Make that man buy his suit, haha. I''d go tonight if you can. I remember looking at the website for your photogs I believe and I remember them being awesome, so I am especially excited to see your photos! He is having a bit of a long bachelor party. My FI gets one night..max. Am I too controlling? Haha. I don''t know. My FI''s will just be a nerd fest anyway I suppose. I am sorry you are stressed at work, you will get it done! You''re working toward an awesome goal!!

Like I said on the BWW Weight Loss Thread..deep breaths and relaxation before the big day! Take a bubble bath!

Courtney, how exciting, and nerve-wracking, ane exciting again, that you have only 11 days to go!

Make sure to do a brain dump and PRIORITIZE - the little tiny details that are really, really important to you, do NOW as much as possible - don't leave them until later. Let the less important ones fall through the cracks, if need be. If you do a brain dump here, we can help you!

I was nervous about stairs too, but it ended up being just fine - I just went down slowly.

Have fun during your bachelorette this weekend...my FI had his bachelor thing for 3 nights too, I didn't love it, but it went fast.

Thanks girls! No, Sarah...that''s not controlling at all, but my FI is having a nice relaxing fishing and golfing weekend with the guys. I''m going to Lake Charles with about 10 girls and laying out by the pool and lazy river, then playing in the casino that evening.

claudinam - I''ve already written a ton of things out and made a to-do list, but I feel like there''s so much more. Maybe it''s all the boxes of things in our dining room that need to be taken up to the country club. It''s all the centerpieces, candles, favors, etc. I don''t even know where to start with a brain dump or even if I need one, ya know? I feel like there''s all these different things, but really there''s not.

Courtney, I hear you...it''s that overwhelming feeling of all the things that just need to get done! I felt the same way!

I 100% FEEL you, I have 11 days to go too!

Remember the sunblock. You don''t want to be a peeling bride

Absolutely!!!

11 days, how exciting!!! Wait until it''s less than a week! That was freaky for me. It does seem like the 100 little things all collide near the end. I had 3 or 4 lists going....and then gave some more to my mom and all the vendors! he he I''d say try to relax, but it probably feels impossible, right?

Things left to do overall
Things to drop off at country club
Things to take to rehearsal
Things to take to ceremony
Things to take from ceremony to country club (the last 2 are for whoever is resp. for packing things up)
Things to take home from country club

That''s a lot of things! LOL Thought maybe it would help you categorize your "brain dump"!

Winston...Thanks!

Ok here''s my brain dump!

Things left to do overall:
o Create “To Bring” list
o Give wedding day itinerary to vendors
o Final count to Robbie
o Pack for wedding night
o Call MAC - confirm with Teresa
o Buy 3 more packs of votives
o Assign family members/friends to help with tasks
o Steve finish up music list and submit to DJ

Drop off at hotel before going to country club:
Who will follow Steve?
My dress
Overnight bags
Steve''s car

Things to bring to country club:
Candles
Candle holders
Mirrors
Votive candles
Candy favors
Bell favors
Story Behind the Cake
4 cocktail frames
guestbook and pen
Card box
Steve''s gift
Digital picture frames
Arbor
Dress
shoes
Jewelry

Things to take home from country club - Steve''s mom
Gifts
Guestbook and pen
Story behind the cake frame
cocktail frames
any leftover candles and holders (after giving them away)

We will take card box and my makeup to hotel from reception.

Gosh it''s so much!! What am I missing?

Wow...just over a week. Doesn''t seem real at all!

Hey Sarah!

Yeah we finally finished the music list, just have to send it to the DJ. I created the "To Bring" list and assigned someone to take the stuff home after reception. We need to decide on a last song and then I can submit everything to the vendors.

I''m feeling much better about all of that, but I still can''t believe how soon it is!

It totally feels surreal doesn''t it?

Are you taking a cake knife or special toasting flutes? Programs, unity candle?
Have a list of all the main vendors with the company name, main contact, and their phone number? Give it to someone who planned it with you, like mom, and say if someone doesn''t show up or the order is drastically wrong (like my friend who was shorted one bouquet), call them (and hopefully you won''t even know!). I gave it to the country club manager too since he should notice first if the cake, flowers, or DJ aren''t showing up.
I gave mom the seating chart in case someone''s card was lost, someone extra showed up....who knows!!
Those are the only extras I can think of at the moment....

You are organized. All will go well.
How are you feeling??

Flutes!! Thank you, Winston!! We don''th ave anything else you listed. Nice and simple.
