As a proud owner of two adorable beagles, I was amazed at this news...I always watch this show, paying special attention to the hounds...but was blown away this year when Uno won!!! I can''t say enough positive things about this breed....we''ve only had ours for 5+ years but LOVE them. Will try to post pics of our beloveds soon. Thanks for reading!

I had a hunch that it would be either the Beagle or the Sealyham.

Aww. Good for Uno!

Mme. Bijoux, the Sealyham was gorgeous!

Here are some pics of my beagle girl....

Monarch-your beagle is such a cutie! I''m so glad that beagle won! My very first pup was a beagle

That Sealyham was a charmer too-that breed is adorable.

Can''t leave out the ol'' boy Milo...he really kind of detests Miss Daisy but for the most part they get along well. It''s taken him over a year to figure out that she rules the roost now and he''s not getting his crown back, hee hee. He''s only 4 and a half, but he acts like a 10 yr. old dog now...DH blames it all on the little one. I think he''s just gotten curmudgeonly before his time!

Monarch, your beagles are adorable! I''ve always wanted a beagle...I''ve always been partial since I''m a Snoopy lover.

Monarch your Beagles are adorable. Yay for Uno!!!

Thanks everyone for indulging me...I''m a terribly boastful mother, aren''t I?! LOL! I would like to point out that the video clip contained in the article is the cutest thing ever...the crowd actually gives a standing ovation for this little Uno guy, and he''s just ah-roo-ing the whole time, soooo cute.

What a cutie Monarch! I missed the show but I wanted to watch. Maybe it will be on in reruns somewhere like Animal Planet. Sorry to threadjack for a minute but...

by any chance, was there a soft coated wheaten terrier there? My FI and I want one so badly and we''ll begin the process of looking for breeders in a year or so, whenever we get a house.

Uno is a cutie and I love the name!

Well it is about time!

Beagles Rock!

And Monnie, love, those two babies are just too much! Give them both a nuzzle for me...and smooches. Lots of smooches!!

Zoe, I didn''t watch the entire show...Wheaton Terriers are awesome dogs...when I took Milo to obedience training there was a Wheaton in his class and that dog was SO well-behaved, totally put Milo to shame. (Milo was the worst in the class by far, but that''s another story, hee hee).

Dang...hubby just told me an owner of another winner in the show...

He said the owner was once the most wanted by the FBI...you could go in any post office and see the wanted poster...

Those of you who know who...just post I KNOW

those of you who don't try to guess without looking it up. You won't believe what answers you will come up with!

Monnie, your beagles are too cute. We have a 4 year old beagle and my son wants to get another so she will have "a friend". Thanks for posting.

I just can''t NOT watch a dog show when I flip past one. I love em. I was very excited that the beagle won. He was SO precious. I loved his little bushy tail. I liked the Akita a good bit too, and I was happy to see an Australian Shepherd win its group.

Every time I watch, I always end up finding a new type of dog I want. I really loved the Glen of Imaal Terrier. So cute!

Oh, he''s adorable! I love beagles too. All hound dogs actually. Love ''em.

I know...

I think beagles are too cute. I think most dogs are great, though some of the breeds are not my favorite. There were some new breeds this year as well...

HI:

I just wanted to hug that little pooch--an absolute darling!

cheers--Sharon
