Strmdr: great choice! That 10 carat Asscher I tried on last month was huge!!!! Mother of all asschers!!!

My choice would not be a diamond as much as it would be a ruby and diamond ring from VC & A. 3 or 4 carat pear shaped ruby and D IF pear shaped diamond in a bypass ring.....or a 6 carat oval ruby set with a bright diamond melee.....

If I had unlimited funds, I would locate (if it exists) a flawless blood- rad pear-shaped 10 carat diamond and put it in a very simple gold mounting on a thin gold chain.

I want:

1. a cape colored largish 2-3 carat heart or old mine cut diamond in a platinum antique looking pendant setting. and a cape colored old mine cut largish stone in a ring setting to match.

2. an 18 inch strand of AA - AAA mikimoto pearls with the "m", orient first, then luster. i am picky about my poils. i got the bracelet first so I could admire them all day.

3. a sapphire and diamond princess diana YG ring (very 80s) helzberg with the pendant to match. i have the ring on layaway, will be "paid fer" in february.

4. a whiteflash diamond solitaire bangle in 18k yellow gold. 2 carat or larger ACA round

5. a 14k or 18k yellow gold reliable watch with a circle or oval of sizeable diamonds.

6. a bailey banks and biddle ruby ring that I have had my eye on for some time at the local zales clearance outlet. Marlboro box red mined ruby. absolutely stunning.

7. pawn shops/estate: seeking a >1 carat marquise, a well done 80''s cluster ring in platinum and yellow gold, 1 ctw studs, pear drop earrings in yellow gold, green emerald anything,

8. something in rose quartz

9. something in watermelon tourmaline or regular tourmaline

10. 10k yellow gold hair sticks. they have to be strong to not bend under the tension

these are actually my list of wants, achieveable over the next few years. the list is never ending.

2. Rose gold Rolex mid size for day.

3. Possibly bigger diamond studs

4. Cartier diamond and white gold or platinum watch for evening

6. a larger ring than mine but I do not know what size, I would have to try it on and see

7. a necklace I can wear for dressy occasions with rounds and pear shapes

8. a really long diamonds by the yard in plat with the dimaonds a nice size and closely spaced together

9. dressy bracelet of emerald cut stones to waer with dressy necklace, not matchy but looks good together!

With the ulimited money fungus (the one that grows money and you can''t get rid of it) you would have the unlimited funds that you desire.... Anything else is a one time deal.

I think a set of 1.5 or 2 carat dimonds of the different "superideal cut''s" out there would be cool to have. 8*, ACA, HOF, etc.

That would allow you to see the differences - and wear the appropriate one to whatever you are doing based on expected lighting...

I''d want either of these: ruby from cherrypicked, or this emerald (untreated!

) from RauAntiques. They''re pictured out of proportion...the ruby is considerably smaller than the emerald.

Iv had that dream... get one of each and mount them in a necklace in such a way that they can be worn all together or separated into pendants to wear alone and hook into a shank for wearing as a ring.

i''d get the tiffany right hand ring i tried on last week with the gals, i can''t remember the name but it''s 3 stacked rows of marquis and rounds...just divine for a daily wear right hand ring.
