So I have a problem. My dress is pretty low cut and the way that it is designed I can''t wear any kind of longline or even a strapless bra. I can''t wear anything that has boning and a strapless bra won''t work because they aren''t low enough in the front... and I need um... LIFT.

SO... I thought about the nu-bra the new lite weight one that goes up to a D cup (which maybe okay depending on if it''s a 32D or like a 36D)... but I''m doubtful having read the reviews if it will work. And I thought of sticky things but I don''t know what they are called. I''ve got my fitting on the 19th and I need something to try under it.

Suggestions? I''m a 36D... but last time I bought a strapless bra it was a Fantasie and I was a larger size... I don''t recall if it was a 38 D or a 36DD but it was larger than my usual bras. I returned it, so I don''t know what it was.

Duct tape?

ehhh. . .this is always difficult. What you need to look for is a U-plunge. I know VS sells one, but not sure if it is strapless. My other suggestion, which is how my and my 36D''s handled the day, is to get your dress altered pretty tight up top to keep the girlies in. You can get cups sewn in too. For all those people who swear they want bigger boobs, things like this suck. So does running. Haha.

Gypsy, I don''t have any suggestions for you but just wanted to say I feel your pain. It''s a PITA and most people are like "Well, it''s a good problem to have." Um... NOOO it''s not. What part of having a problem is good?!?! Grrrrr!

Gypsy, take it from my 32E''s that the stick-on bras just don''t work. Heck, tit tape just doesn''t work. There''s only so much sticky tape can cope with

I would go with sewing in cups if you can swing it.

Gypsy I have about the same size as you and I agree with Delster Stick ons will do crap all to hold you in though you can use them with copious amounts of masking tape and stick on''s a friend on mine did this for our formal, it does hurt to get it all off though.

I found these options they might not be right but it is a start :), all else fails I would get cups sewn into your dress might be good, though how much lift and support it offers I have no idea.

The U-bra definitely low enough they do give heaps of lift but I don''t know if they are strapless

Low-cut body suits I don''t think they have boning but some are fairly low cut

Another strapless body suit most of these come from the US so you can probably find one locally

Have you thought of the possibility of talking to a seamstress about being able to modify an existing strapless bra to make it more low cut? I don''t know if it would be worth the hassle or change the support but that might be an option.

What about the VS 100 ways bra? It''s strapless and pretty low, but in case it''s not low enough, the middle part is clear so you may not see it any way. It''s the only strapless bra that''s ever done anything for me (other than a long line bra that is), but I''m only a C.

I was just about to recommend this bra! Also, Victoria Secret''s very sexy collection has a strapless that is very low cut.

You might want to try this strapless bra:

Felina Strapless Plunge Bra

If not, I''d say go for the sewn in cups if possible. I''m right now a small 32dd (haha if that makes any sense), and going bra-less with dresses that have tons of structure is much more appealing than trying on strapless bras/nubras whatever that just don''t do the work.
