Only about two weeks to go for me (and pichuchy21 and sap483), eek!

What were you doing, or do you plan to do, during your final two weeks before the wedding?

We still have a few things to finalize, but other than that there''s not much going on. Did anyone change their beauty routines? What popped up at the last minute that you weren''t expecting?

Thanks!

I haven''t hit the two week mark, but I have already made plans of what I''ll be doing to rev up my beauty routine...My wedding is in 6 weeks - so I guess I have four weeks until...

I plan on:
- Getting a facial
- Exfoliating every night
- Moisturizing my dry feet
- Upping my workout routine - especially focusing on arms (can''t have flabby arms in my strapless dress!)
- Using Crest Whitestrips
- Stop my coffee intake (I can only do that two weeks before my wedding - there''s no way I can do that everyday - sad to say)
- Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night
- Manis and Pedis two days before the big day
- Doing a last make-up run through (I''m doing my own make-up)

oh - and I''ll be getting a trim and highlight somewhere between all that madness!

Hey Haven. I am not having a big wedding, but here are some of the last minute things I got planned. 1). Conditioning my hair like crazy I want it to look nice and healthy that face. 2). Paying of photographer. 3). Making sure reservations are in order at restaurant and dropping of some nice paper at the restaurant so when they print out the fixed menus it looks nicer. 4). Getting hair trial on Wednesday of next week and make up trial this Saturday. 5). Getting together with officiant to make sure everything at the ceremony goes smoothly. 6). Cheking with guests to make sure that they have hotel accomadations, etc. 7). Working out like a psycho! 8). Trying to relax. From what I heard this day will pass right by us. Even our officiant said to take it all in because it will go by so fast. Good Luck!!!

So exciting that it''s coming up so soon!

I like the idea of getting a facial. I think that would really help me to feel nice and glowy :)

It''s so great that you''ve got mostly everything done, Haven! Hopefully not too much last minute stressing for you!

Tritto - I love the idea of a facial! How about a deep conditioning treatment for your gorgeous hair? Maybe a glazing treatment at a local salon? I was thinking about doing that, just for some extra shine.

It''s so exciting that it''s so close!! Do you need appointment for a waxing or a mani? Get lots of sleep and drink lots of water!

Hi Haven!!!

Couple of words of advice from a very newly married gal.... (4 weeks ago!)

*Anything that needs to be done... just do it and get it over with
*Buy what you need and pack for the Honeymoon
*Make a list of what you need for the day of so you won't forget anything
*Give someone your camera!! My hubs and I were just dying to see some pics on the Honeymoon... wish we would have had a few!
*Do you have your marriage certificate? (don't laugh... I nearly forgot this "minor" detail)
*Start writing out thank you's for your bridal party... this took much longer than I thought!

Good luck!!! Hope that you have a wonderful wedding!

I really having nothing contructive to add because I have no idea what I should be doing either. I''m just extremely excited today at having only two more weeks to go! Yay!

NO NO NO NO NO!!! Don''t get a facial!!! Trust me here ladies BAD IDEA!!!!!! I''m an Esthetician, and when you get facials it tends to draw out impurities lurking under your skin = having possibly a huge pimple on your big day. Facials should begin 3-4 months BEFORE to get your skin in tip tip shape!!!!!! PLEASE DON''T DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven I don''t have any advice or suggestions - I just wanted to say I am so happy for you that your big day is this close!!!

Headoverheels is right about the facial. I''d skip it, don''t take the risk of new zits.
Every facial I have ever had was followed a few days later with a few red bumps.

Just skip it and pamper your skin in other ways.

You should TOTALLY do a Massage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I''ve found that oxygen facials do not make me break out. They are the kind where they basically blast a nebulizer on your face after the facial (and sometimes during too). However I wouldn''t get one right now with only two weeks to go if you haven''t gotten one before. As for the massage, again if you have sensitive skin, make sure that the massage oils/lotions that they use won''t make you break out. Also, make sure you drink lots of water after your massage- it helps cleanse your body of the lactic acid that''s released when your muscles are massaged :)

What should you be doing:

Taking deep breathes! Enjoying every cram-packed minute!

Used the same makeup as everyday, with a little more emphasis on eyes and lips. Did not change soaps, scrubs, or get a facial; they tell you not to so that you don''t upset your skin.

Nothing popped up at the last minute, ''cause my inn had a wonderful wedding planner who was THE BEST! So, I got to concentrate on moving a decade worth of furniture and stuff into our house a week before the wedding. I have never been so exhausted!
